1/19/26: Sammy’s Story
A few weeks ago, we received a heartfelt message about a stray cat named Sammy. Sammy had been showing up for food for months. She’s sweet and friendly, just shy at first. One day, her caregiver found her injured, covered in her own mess, with what appeared to be a bite wound on her neck.
Michelle desperately wanted to help her, but she had just started a new job and was barely making ends meet. She couldn’t afford a vet visit and couldn’t bring Sammy inside because she has dogs—but she still reached out, hoping someone would help.
Because of your support, we were able to cover Sammy’s medical visit and get her checked out.
Sammy is a gentle soul who deserves safety, care, and a chance at a better life. Stories like hers are why we do what we do—and why your support matters so much. She needs a home. Located in Yale Michigan.
Thank you for helping us be there when animals like Sammy need us most.
