Mack Is One Step Closer to Home
7/10/26 Update: We were contacted by animal control weeks ago regarding this boy found in a stolen U-Haul truck. He tested positive for Heartworm disease and we offered to help with cost.
This amazing rescue took him in to get him through the treatment and up to date on all vetting. They will also find him a loving home.
Yesterday he completed his Heartworm treatment and I was able to call in $1000 to pay for his treatment and a few other things to get him in a good place.
We are blessed to do what we do for the vulnerable, but we could not do this without YOU.

6/24/26 Mack was found in a stolen U-Haul truck in 90 degree temperature inside. Upon exam at the veterinary hospital, he tested positive for Heartworm disease.
Sterling Heights Animal Control reached out to us for help with funds for Heartworm Treatment because this is a costly disease, and without help Mack likely would have been euthanized.
We offered to commit to $850 toward treatment, and he goes in for an exact consultation and estimate next week.
A wonderful rescue stepped up to give Mack the life he deserves and they will find permanent placement while spoiling him in the meantime.
To find out more about adopting Mack go to Great Lakes Bully Briage.
If you would like to donate towards the funds we have committed to please go to or link or send a check. Because of you we can make a difference one life at a time!
