12/9/25: Located in St. Clair Shores, Mindy is a petite, one-year-old female who has lived her whole life outside. The kind woman caring for her feeds several neighborhood strays, and like so many of them, Mindy has developed a respiratory infection.
This compassionate homeowner is doing everything she can to place these cats or get them trapped, neutered, and returned — but the need is overwhelming and resources are limited.
We stepped in to cover Mindy’s veterinary visit, hoping to give her the chance she deserves. Thankfully, she tested negative for both Feline Leukemia and FIV. The veterinarian started her on antibiotics, and we’re waiting for updates, hoping they bring good news.
Most of all, Mindy deserves the chance to be indoors where she can finally thrive in a safe, loving home.
Please share Mindy. And if you’d like to help us support others just like her, our donation match is currently active — every gift is doubled.
