5/15/26: Sue and Ellen are a bonded pair of adult cats who have already endured so much while surviving life outside. Thankfully, they were never completely alone. A kind and compassionate woman has been caring for them, feeding them, and making sure they knew kindness in a difficult world.
Sue is the kitty with the shaved leg. After suffering an injury, she needed orthopedic surgery to relieve her pain. About a week ago, Michigan Humane performed her surgery, and we were able to help cover half of the cost. Now begins the next chapter for both Sue and Ellen.
These two are truly inseparable, and the rescuer is desperately hoping to find placement where they can stay together forever. After all they’ve been through, they deserve an indoor life filled with love, warmth, soft beds, full bowls, safety, and peace.
If you are interested in learning more about Sue and Ellen or possibly giving them a chance together, I would be happy to connect you with the rescuer.
And if you would like to make a donation, we would be so incredibly grateful.
Veterinary emergencies like Sue’s surgery are costly, but helping relieve pain and giving cats like her a second chance is exactly why we do this. Your support allows us to continue helping homeless cats who have nowhere else to turn.
