Duchess Deserves a Second Chance

10/20/26: Found homeless, wandering around a junkyard in Mount Clemens, Duchess was struggling with sores caused by constant drainage around her eyes, along with a respiratory infection. You can just look at her face and the way she carries herself and see a cat who seems to have lost hope.

With another Michigan winter approaching, it’s hard not to wonder if she would have survived much longer without help.

Duchess was safely secured, and yesterday, we were able to approve her for veterinary care and the treatment recommended by the doctor. Duchess deserves a chance to feel better. She deserves to be comfortable, to breathe easier, and to know that her life matters.
