A Heartfelt Thank You

10/28/13: A Heartfelt thank you to the following businesses for including 4 Paws 1 Heart in their fundraising activities. We should all support those businesses who help non-profits raise money, without them we couldn’t do the work we do:

Circare Gifts, 23024 Greater Mack, St. Clair Shores

Hair Odyssey, 32480 Gratiot Avenue, Roseville

Thank You,

Carson Coupon Book Sales

10/27/13 – A huge thank you to our Board members, Darlene and Melissa, and Hercules’ mom and dad, Chris and Tari for joining me in selling the Carson’s coupon books yesterday. Understandably, Roscoe and Hercules attracted much attention which resulted in us selling 43 books and bringing much awareness to 4 Paws 1 Heart!! Their fur brothers and sisters are very proud of them. ~ diana

Hello friends!
I am so excited because I am going to see all my friends from 4 Paws 1 Heart tomorrow at Carson’s at Partridge Creek for their coupon book fundraiser from 10am to noon. Stop by and see me there too!
PLUS, I get to see them again and lots of kids too at People, Pets & Vets next Saturday (11/2/13) at Macomb Community College, Garfield/M-59 campus, Building E from 11am to 3pm. It’s a great event to learn about animals and animal care. Come check it out and say hi! Please DON’T bring personal pets though…there are plenty of animals there to meet already!

We Can’t Do It Without You!

10/24/13 WE CAN’T DO IT WITHOUT YOU! In the past two weeks we have paid for the leg amputation of our little Spooky, the very serious diaphragm operation for our sweetheart, Dewey, and the care and possible surgery for our Duke–and that doesn’t include the spaying/neutering we’ve been helping others with and our usual assistance to our rescue partners.Because we are not a rescue, we rely on individual donations and our fundraisers. You have a chance to help us on either count. Our next fundraiser is November 9. It will be a night of MOTOWN FUN with great raffle prizes. Right now we have 4 sets (2 tickets in each set) of Red Wing tickets — rows 11 and 5) — with more to come. And, many gift certificates and tempting baskets. Bring your friends for an evening of fun for a great cause. ~ diana

Token Lounge

Support 4 Paws 1 Heart and have a fun night at the Token Lounge. Meet Gina and some of our Board members, our cousins, The Warhorses, who will be playing first, and the gang from Raw Radio X. ~ diana

A huge thank you to the participants of the Macomb County Employee Casual Day Program

9/24/13 – A huge thank you to the participants of the Macomb County Employee Casual Day Program for making 4 Paws 1 Heart the recipients of their donations during the month of August. Those of you who know me know that my two passions (besides my family) are Macomb County and making a difference for abandoned animals. I’ve not only lived in the County for the past 41 years but during my career worked for many years with a variety of Macomb County departments. I’ve always felt that Macomb County had some of the most dedicated and efficient employees amongst all of the counties I worked with. Many animals will be helped because of their generosity. ~ diana

My Painted Paws

9/23/13 – A BIG thank you to our friend, Brigette Weller of My Painted Paws, for three fun and beautiful paintings. We raffled off the smallest of the paintings at the Women’s Expo and raised $65 for our abandoned babies. This photo is the larger painting which we’re holding for the right event. Check out the My Painted Paws fb page. Brigette uses the paw prints of rescue animals (and will also use your animal for your own painting) for her paintings. Everyone loved it. ~ diana
