Here is Duchess, Raven, Hobbes, Oliver, and Graycie

9/19/24 – In August we were contacted by a woman who took in a five-month old kitty who was found on the street. She tried to find the owners without success.

It turned out that the sweetie was pregnant and she ended up having four kittens. The kittens were around 4 weeks old when she contacted 4 paws 1 heart. We authorized the mom to be tested and the entire family to be vaccinated and spayed/neutered when appropriate.

Tiny, born from a feral cat in Saint Clare Shores

9/15/24 This is Tiny. He was born from a feral cat family in Saint Clair Shores. The rescuer needed help because Tiny was sick with a respiratory infection and half the size of the others. We helped get him started on his necessary medication but he is still living outside and he needs a home. There are a few adults and kittens that live on the property and need to be fixed and released back out because they are feral. If anyone can help with placement or help this kind resident with trap neuter release please let me know. She’s doing her best but she cannot bring them in or afford medical for all of them. Sweet little Ember

9/13/24 – Sweet little Ember is holding on and making baby increments of improvement daily. She was dewormed 6 days ago and 2 days later started shedding a lot of worms and diarrhea which took a toll on her little body. She was needing constant baths and we added in a probiotic.

I’m actually surprised she is still with us, but she’s also in very good hands with a seasoned technician.

Asher’s Surgery went well

9/12/2024 – Surgery went well. He is awake and comfortable.

Huge thank you to one of our amazing surgeons, Dr Hilton. It was a very unique injury. There was lysis of the humerus, radius, and ulna due to an infection, and the Radial Nerve was entrapped and pinched within the humerus bone.

His overall cost of care with Surgery is a lot, and he still needs vaccines. Please donate if you can. https://4paws1heart.org/donations/ Gina

Asher is Scheduled for Surgery

9/11/24 Asher is scheduled for amputation surgery of his front leg in the morning. Please keep him in your prayers that he does well, and if you can donate to Asher we certainly appreciate any help. I will be assisting with his surgery and keep everyone updated as soon as he is recovered. He gas been through so much since his rescuer found him In July.

We have been doing everything we can possibly do to help him. Gina https://4paws1heart.org/donations/

Paws Crossed for Diego

9/11/24 – FIRST — Let me apologize to our supporters who have generously donated in the past couple weeks to help the stray animals being born and left out on our streets. Unfortunately, my amazing 93 year old dad passed away this past Sunday after almost 6 weeks in home hospice and I’ve been embarrassingly slow in recognizing those donations. BUT I have tried to stay somewhat current in at least continuing to help those animals in need.

This is Diego. He was recently rescued by an independent rescuer we have assisted in the past. Unfortunately, he tested for heart worm a month ago and the rescuer was able to take care of the first 30 days of medication but she asked for our assistance with his injections which we are doing.

Paws crossed for this very abused boy who was left at the rescuer’s door step. – diana https://4paws1heart.org/donations/
