Bandit’s Second Chance: Life After Eye Surgery

8/11/25: This sweet kitten was found with a ruptured eye that needed to be removed. The rescuer called everywhere and was quoted $2000 for surgery. She was going to surrender the kitten to the shelter or humane society because she could not afford treatment, and she didn’t want this baby to suffer any longer.

She reached out to us as a last option and we offered to help cover the cost of surgery. Bandit was seen at Moore Vet Hospital where her eye was surgically removed last week.

Bandit The Kitten Found With An Injured Eye

7/17/25: Bandit is only about 11 weeks old and weighs 3 pounds. The person who found and rescued her took her to the hospital and was quoted about $2,000 to remove the eye. This is not an expense the rescuer could afford so she emailed us for help. We are working on a way to help Bandit get the care she needs. The doctor prescribed eye medication and will recheck in a couple weeks. If there is no improvement then we will talk about surgery options.
