Charlie’s Journey Continues

3/25/26 Update: Charlie captured everyone’s heart. A few days ago he had his eye removal surgery and he is recovering well.

Thank you to the Doctors and Staff at Orion Animal Hospital, his rescuer Janice, and our supporters who helped give Charlie a better chance of a Brighter Future.

He still needs a place to call home so if interested in more information please email Janice at janniecc@gmail.com

3/12/26 Update: Charlie has been neutered, vaccinated, and treated for an eye condition. Unfortunately, despite treatment, his eye has not improved and will need to be surgically removed to relieve his pain and prevent further complications.

His surgery is scheduled for March 20th, and 4 Paws 1 Heart will be covering the cost to make sure Charlie gets the care he needs. This surgery will help give him a more comfortable life.

Please keep Charlie in your thoughts as he prepares for surgery, and as always, thank you for supporting the work that makes cases like Charlie’s possible.

2/3/26: Found on a woman’s property, this young, tiny boy was scared and suffering from eye damage. Despite it all, he makes the sweetest little “nom nom” sounds when he eats.

Janis named him Charlie.

During his exam at the hospital, it was discovered that his eyelid is adhered to his cornea, and he also tested positive for coccidia. We were able to step in and sponsor his medical care, and Charlie is scheduled to be neutered this week.

He’s safe now, getting the care he needs, and one step closer to a brighter future.

Phoenix and Charlie Getting Help

3/25/25 – This case initially started November 12, 2024 when we were contacted about two cats who had been roaming the neighborhood and being fed by the woman who contacted us. She wanted to take both of them in and find them homes. We said we could help but then didn’t hear back from the rescuer. Unfortunately, her mother had passed away and she re-contacted me after I sent a follow-up. The woman and sister had decided to adopt them both and still needed the medical assistance which was finally done.

We were happy to help getting Phoenix and Charlie, two more sweet cats who had been either lost or abandoned, a second chance at life. – diana https://4paws1heart.org/donations/
