9/16/15 – In a few more hours Dr. Maria, Sommerset, and I will be heading over to Michigan State University for a post-op checkup. Sommerset had reconstructive surgery on her scar tissue 1 week ago by one of the very best soft tissue surgeons, Dr. Stanley. The doctors don’t know for certain, but suspect that a contaminated bag of subcutaneous fluids caused the damage.
Thank you all for your positive thoughts and your donations during our journey with this beautiful little girl. We are blessed to have your support in giving animals like this a chance of life. Auntie Venus and Uncle Jeff have been absolutely wonderful with puppy sitting, and I could NOT have done it without them!!! I will keep you all posted after our visit at MSU in the morning.
