9/19/16 – I know the photo of this little guy before his operation is graphic but I want you to know how your donations not only save lives but take away the unimaginable suffering of God’s most vulnerable creatures. Almost two weeks ago I received the following e mail:
“Hi. I’m trying to find help for a tiny kitten. A friend of mine found a tiny kitten with a very bad eye. He wants to keep the kitten but cannot afford a huge vet bill. He did take the kitten to Michigan Anti Cruelty on Joseph Campau in Detroit; they gave the kitten a dose of antibiotics and applied flea medication, charged him $40 and sent kitty home with him. I saw the kitten and her eye looks as if it’s going to rupture and it’s pus filled. The finder wants help for this baby so badly. Can you help him? He is willing to pay what he can towards a bill to help this poor tiny thing. Thank you for taking the time to read this. Mike”
Now, could you turn your back on this poor animal? Of course not — no matter how slow donations have been! In the past six years I’ve learned that some how, some way, things will always work out. So, we made arrangements for Bumper to be seen by one of our generous veterinarians the next morning and the eye, which had already ruptured, was removed. His pain was gone and his life was saved — all because of people who cared and didn’t turn their backs.
Bumper is being spoiled and his new dad is head over heels in love with him. This, my dear friends, is what this is all about. ~ diana
