Breo – Saved From a High Kill Shelter, Only to be Discarded Again

3/24/18 – The cruelty of the human specie never ceases to sicken and amaze me. This is Breo. About one year ago she was intercepted by protestors at Michigan Anti Cruelty. At that time, 4 Paws 1 Heart paid for her to be spayed, vaccinated, and tested. Breo was then adopted out to a relative of the rescuer. Now, after one year in the home, Breo’s ‘family’ contacted the rescuer and said they would be ‘dumping’ her at the Humane Society because she was urinating outside the litter box. The rescuer took Breo back and noticed blood in her urine. We were again contacted for help. It turns out that Breo was suffering from a urinary tract infection. The poor little girl must have been suffering. Breo has been treated and will be rechecked in a couple of weeks. But, she is now looking for, what we hope, will be her forever, loving home. She is approximately 7-8 months old and is very friendly, even with visitors. Breo is an active, playful kitten but also enjoys relaxing on the couch with her foster family, which includes an active dog. It appears Breo may not be a big fan of other cats. She is spayed, FeLV/FIV negative, vaccinated, and microchipped. If you are interested in this sweetie, contact Lori at: [email protected] – dianaBreo w:lori stephens 3:6:18
