7/12/21 – Onyx, a young, malnourished cat appeared one day at a caring woman’s home. The poor baby was loaded with ticks. The homeowner believes Onyx was dumped because she was too sweet to have been a stray/feral cat. The rescuer contacted us for assistance after contacting several rescues who said they were full. She couldn’t keep the cat in that her dog wasn’t a fan of cats. I authorized Onyx to be taken to the vet where the ticks were removed, she was spayed, tested, and vaccinated (negative, thankfully). And the really great news — the rescuer found a furever home for her. – diana
