3/4/24 – Trixie will be spayed and have her very infected eye removed tomorrow at Orion Animal Hospital. Trixie was one of many cats rescued from a hoarding situation and will be looking for her furever home once she is recovered. – diana
3/4/24 – Elizabeth R. saw a post about two puppies in Flint who were living under horrible conditions. There was one shelter and 3 adult dogs had already froze to death. The rescues were all full so Elizabeth offered to take in Bucky and Bailey to foster and eventually find adopters. The first photo is how the two puppies were found. They were both very emaciated. Elizabeth got the two healthy and then sought assistance for their medical. She found a group who pays for spay/neuter but not vaccines and other testing. So, tomorrow we will be covering vaccines and heart worm testing when the puppies are neutered at the Humane Society of St. Clair. Anyone interested in adopting should contact Elizabeth at: [email protected] – diana
I want to say a special THANK YOU to 4paws 1heart for your generosity to help with these 2 puppies I am fostering. It was such a blessing and a relief now that they are medically up to date with all the protective measures in place. I honestly didn’t know how I was going to accomplish this when I agreed to take them in. As it was split decision when no other help was to be found for them. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart for all the help you do for the helpless animals Bucky and Bailey are recovering and resting peacefully since their spay/neuter this morning. It was a long day for them.Thank you again! – Elizabeth
