Jagger Faces Another Surgery on His Road to Recovery

6/4/26: ❤️ Happy Update on Jagger ❤️ Infection has developed and they have to amputate further down the tail. We are covering surgery scheduled on Tuesday.

Many of you may remember Jagger, the cruelty case taken in by Sterling Heights Animal Control whose story we shared on May 27.

Jagger has had a few bumps in the road during his recovery. After his tail amputation surgery, he managed to reopen his incision and required additional care. The good news is that he is now healing well and is on the mend!

Despite everything he has endured, Jagger remains deserving of what every animal should have—a safe, loving, forever home where he will be cherished and never neglected again.

If you are interested in giving Jagger the loving home he deserves, please contact Officer Christina Wilson at Sterling Heights Animal Control for more information.

Jagger’s past does not define him. His future is still waiting to be written, and we hope it includes a family who will love him for the rest of his life.

5/27/26: If you see something, say something. You can save them by being their voice.

Jagger will no longer be forced to live behind a chain neglected, without human companionship, hungry, and alone.

A local animal control Officer Christina Wilson is pursuing cruelty charges. She contacted us to see if we could help with his medical which was over $1,000 because he had an untreated wound that exploded and was bleeding everywhere over the weekend.

He had to be taken to emergency. We said yes to covering the bill for Jagger. He will finally have a chance to receive the life he deserved all along. If you would like to help towards his medical visit our donation link. If you are interested in providing this boy a loving home, please let me know and I will put you in touch with the department
