12/22/17 – In any given day, I can get one to six calls regarding an animal in trouble requiring medical care. In many cases it will just be the ‘usual’ — fleas, vaccines, neuter/spay, parasites, and snap test AND under the best circumstances the cost will be $100 to $150. On the other hand, as many of you have seen this past year, many of the calls I get require more immediate and serious attention and when that happens — you just never know. Here are some of the cats/kittens who we’ve helped but I just didn’t get the chance to post them before. All were rescued by individuals who either kept the kitties or committed to finding them homes. Meet Reddington, Bart, Himmy, Lucy, Penelope, Polly and kittens rescued during trap/neuter/return. Don’t forget that we don’t believe our mission ends with funding medical bills. We also try to help independent rescuers by offering our Petfinder site and our Friends of 4 Paws 1 Heart Facebook Page. So if you are ever looking for that special family member, please remember to check out those sites to find your new best friend. ~ diana
