Happy New Beginnings for Sunny & Nuggett

7/1/26 Update: Happy New Beginnings!

Just look at Sunny & Nuggett now. These two tiny kittens were found homeless, malnourished, sick with respiratory infections, and with their eyes sealed shut from discharge.

Today, they’re healthy, thriving, and even scheduled for their neuters.

Because you cared—and because their rescuer, Alexis, refused to look away—they were given the chance every animal deserves.

6/4/26: Found with respiratory infections and eyes sealed shut. Sunny and Nuggett found outside desperately in need of help.

Alexis found them and immediately took them for medical care. They have responded to treatment and they are ready for vaccinations.

She asked if we could help, and we said yes, so both of kitties are scheduled to go to Macomb Veterinary Center hospital for age appropriate vaccinations.

This will help get them onto the health path needed for a bright future. Please mark your calendars for our August 22 bowling fundraiser to help more stray animals like Sunny and Nuggett.
