Sabrina’s Cats – Vito
Vito is a 4 ½ year old domestic medium hair. He is neutered, micro-chipped, and current on vaccinations. Vito is a very social cat who loves attention, playing with his toys, and being groomed regularly. He is great with both cats and dogs. I’m considering Vito a special needs kitty because he had his right eye removed so there is a slight chance he could be blind in the future if he were to develop cataracts. However, with the way he runs around and plays, you would never know he was missing an eye! Vito could benefit from losing a little weight and should be on a light or weight management diet. Could this special boy be your new best friend?
Sabrina’s Cats – Elliot
Elliot is a 3 ½ year old domestic short hair. He is neutered, microchipped, and current on vaccinations. Elliot loves to stalk and run around with his best bud, Clive. He loves attention and getting his paws on any toy he can find. Elliot needs all the exercise he can get and should be on a light or weight management diet since he’s a bit overweight. Elliot is good with both cats and dogs. Would Elliot and possibly his best friend, Clive, be a good addition for your family?

Nigel is a 4 year old domestic short hair. He is neutered, microchipped, and current on vaccinations. Nigel is a very social cat who demands attention. His favorite activity is sitting directly on you or nudging you for attention. Nigel is great with both cats and dogs. While he has always been an indoor cat, Nigel has been known to try to sneak out the door. His new family must pay special attention to make sure he does not get lost. Clive is a 2 ½ year old domestic medium hair. He is neutered, microchipped, and current on vaccinations. Clive could be a bit shy at first, but once you pet him, he will be your best friend forever. He loves to be brushed, which is great because he needs to be brushed frequently due to his coat. Clive is good with both cats and dogs. Clive enjoys finding toys to play with and loves to run around and cuddle with his best buddy, Elliot. He would love for Elliot to join him in his new forever home. Maybee is a domesticated medium hair who is estimated to be around 8-9 years old. This is a complete guess as she was already an adult when Sabrina rescued her. When I took her in for her check-up and vaccinations, my vet thought she was around 5-6 years old. She is spayed, front paw declawed, microchipped, and current on vaccinations. Maybee is a little 8lb sweetheart who loves to cuddle on your lap. She definitely enjoys playtime too! She would be a wonderful companion for an older person or couple with no other pets. While she will tolerate some animals, she is much happier by herself. Maybee needs to be brushed frequently and enjoys every minute of it. Many people will remember Sabrina Gianino, brutally murdered in her Grosse Pointe Park home on May 15, 2013. Sabrina worked at Platz Veterinary and was known as an avid animal advocate who especially loved those who were less apt to be adopted — black cats, some of whom had special needs.
She often would take them home to give extra care and love. After her murder, some of her pets found themselves without homes. Her good friend took in her cats and has taken very good care of them since, but now they need permanent loving homes. The trial to bring justice to Sabrina Gianino begins Monday, March 10, almost 1 year after her brutal murder. Myron Tyronne Williams, her neighbor, has been charged with her murder. Please share Sabrina’s story and let’s help in finding her sweet cats forever homes. Popper Needs a Home!
12/27/13: POPPER NEEDS A HOME! This is Popper. He was rescued by our favorite Warren Animal Control Officer, Lisa, and is now being fostered by a friend of hers. 4 Paws 1 Heart paid for all vetting, vaccines,deworming, and neutering.
He is about 6 months old, and very healthy. He is high energy, super sweet and would benefit in a home that has a playmate. He hasn’t a mean bone in his body and if anyone is interested they can contact diana@[email protected]
Little Spooky is Waiting for Your Calls
Even after being on TV our little Spooky still hasn’t gotten any calls. We did have a few interested adopters but because they already have cats and dogs, we believed it wouldn’t be a good fit.
