8/20/25: A couple weeks ago we were contacted about Maverick – a local stray that looked really sick. While at his visit, the doctor called me to say that this boy was so critical that the options were aggressive immune suppressing dose of steroids for several weeks wth no guarantee or humane euthanasia. The rescuer was committed to providing medical treatment and giving this stray a fighting chance. It’s been almost 2 weeks and he has shown some improvement.
