9/15/17 – Sweet Luna. Found on the street — maybe used for breeding and then dumped. We thought she would need a “simple leg amputation” but later learned she was heart worm positive. She saw a cardiologist who approved the surgery and yesterday her leg was amputated. When she is better, she will start heart worm treatment complements of 4 Paws 1 Heart. We could not help save these abandoned and abused without the support of our friends. Thank YOU so much for all of the donations being made during the $1,000 Match Challenge.
