Gina’s Kittens

Gina’s kittens are getting big and sassy. From being taken in at birth without a mom to teach them how to be a ‘cat’, Gina and her trusty pal, Angel, were able to get them to a point where they will some day have lots of loving in a forever home. As soon as they are able to be spayed and neutered they will be available for adoption through A Scooter’s ResQ. ~ diana

Star Update

Here’s an update on our Star from her mom, Dana. It was just about a month ago that she was brought in by the wonderful people who accidentally hit her. Now she’s living the life of luxury. Here’s Dana’s update. ~ diana

“I just thought you guys would like an update on Star, the cat I adopted from 4 Paws/Gina. She is doing wonderful and seems to have adjusted very quickly to her new home. She loves all of her new toys and hanging out with my fiancé and I. She is a wonderful addition to our life!! ~ Dana”

Recovery of Bunny

4 Paws 1 Heart is happy to send some medical dollars to help in the recovery of Bunny. Anyone interested in this little sweetheart should contact Michigan Cat Rescue. ~ diana
Bunny is one of our newer rescue cats. She’s so sweet. She is about 2 yrs old. We rescued her just before she was supposed to be put down. Nobody would adopt her/rescue her when she was there. Why? Because so many people made horrible comments that she’s ugly and “unadoptable.” Its very sad that people judge animals based on appearance.
Bunny is a wonderful cat who deserves a loving home. Her ear is damaged from a horrible ear infection that was never treated in the past.
Bunny weighs only 3.5 lbs, she was starving for a long time on the streets.
We are trying to feed her extra food to get her to put some weight on. Right now she suffers from an intestine infection that she’s on medication for.
Please keep Bunny in your prayers, and if you’d like to help sponsor Bunny any donation would be a blessing to us to help her. We can use it to buy food and to help pay for her veterinary care.
Thanks for caring and for following us here on FB.

Star Update

Update! Our beautiful Star is doing great! She was hit by a car a couple weeks ago and brought into the vet for medical treatment. She had head trauma and needed IV medication to stop the swelling of her bruised brain. 4 Paws 1 Heart, provided her needed care by covering the costs, and she is going into a rescue or home soon. ~ diana

Francine Left Behind

March 28, 2013 – Francine is being fostered by A Scooter’s ResQ to help her find her furever home.

Francine was brought into emergency to be euthanized. The owner didn’t want her anymore because she hid in the house and wasn’t a sociable cat. He claimed she was “not touchable”. After hearing his story things didn’t add up so we let her out of the trap to see how she would act. She let us pet her, trim her nails, pick her up, and brush her. Frances was left behind after a divorce two years ago. She is 9 years old, long haired, beautiful female, fixed, and on the shy side. Not enough reason to euthanize her! We offered the owner to surrender Frances to “4 Paws 1 Heart” and he was glad to. She is in good hands and she will find a forever home with someone who can give her the love and affection she so desperately needs.

Babies to A Scooter’s ResQ

All of our babies have gone to A Scooter’s ResQ to eventually find their forever home. It will be a little while yet before they are ready for adoption but anyone interested should submit an application with ASRQ and identify them a “Gina’s Kittens”. I will make sure that anyone who gave Gina or I contact information goes to ASRQ but don’t hesitate to get pre-approval for when they’re ready. I also want to thank our friends at Tigerlily Cat Rescue for offering to help us. ~ diana
