Thank You to the Utica Education Association Staywell Committee

4/6/16 – A huge thank you to the Utica Education Association for once again including 4 Paws 1 Heart as a beneficiary of their recent Hoodie Hoo 5K Run/Walk. The fact that three of my favorite non-profits (Macomb Food Program, 4 Paws 1 Heart, and Tigerlily) benefitted, is just icing on the cake. We are truly humbled by their continued support. They truly live by the motto that “it is better to give then receive”.12974373_1128330860532544_6138589262994945211_n

The Hoody Hoo – Fundraiser for 4 Paws 1 Heart and Macomb Food Program

3/6/16 – A huge thank you to Nancy Smith and the Utica Education Association Staywell Committee for selecting 4 Paws 1 Heart as one of the charities who will benefit from the Hoodie Hoo 5k walk/run. We are honored to share the proceeds with another great non-profit, the Macomb Food Program, which is another organization where 99% of the dollars donated go directly to feeding the less fortunate in Macomb County. Also, thank you to our friends who attended this event in our name. In the photo are my husband, Tony, who distributes donated food to rescues and those who do outreach, me, our Board member, Darlene Chiappetta, and her husband Mike. ~ diana12794421_10153935841337974_3237860657620092384_n

Fundraiser for 4 Paws 1 Heart – Delicious Popcorn

Dear 4P1H Friends, If you follow us regularly, you will know that money tends to go out faster than it comes in. Consequently, we are always looking for new ways to raise money. This is one campaign that I feel very good about. NOM NOM POPCORN. For the next 2 weeks, you can purchase this delicious gourmet popcorn and 4p1h will get 40% of sales. I did receive samples of the popcorn and I will attest to the quality. I tried the caramel corn drizzled with dark mint chocolate and the Buffalo Ranch which tasted of real cheese and just a hint of cayenne pepper. Please check it out and if you love popcorn, you will love this. They’ve also just opened up the sale to include sample packs. Yum Yum~ diana

Hercules Share a Huge Thank You to our Supporters

2/28/16 – A huge thank you to all of our friends who came out to support 4 Paws 1 Heart — all 154 of you – at our 60’s Revolution FundraiserHercules2:14:16. It truly was a great night with Gina’s brothers, Eric and Vince, playing the tunes from the 60’s–Motown to the British Invasion. Although the food was not up to our usual standards, I hope that everyone who attended had a great time making new friends, enjoying the music, and making a difference for the abandoned and abused. ~ diana

Fundraisers – 2016

2/11/16 – In just the last two weeks, 4 Paws 1 Heart has paid for 30 cats and two dogs, rescued from the streets, to be spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and tested. This does not include the two cases Gina just took on and some of the more extensive cases such as the two eye removals that will be coming up, as well as the continuing care of Carlos.

But, we can only do as much as we have funds to cover. Therefore, we are all working hard to raise money — either through individual donations or through fundraisers. Mark you calendars for our upcoming events and we truly hope that you can attend at least one of them. Our fundraisers are all about fun and saving the abandoned and abused. Also, don’t forget about our limited edition of 4 Paws 1 Heart Socks campaign running now through February 15. Thanks for your continued support! ~ diana60's revolutionpainting w:a twistbowling may 21, 2016 save the date

Limited Edition Socks on Sale Through February 15, 2016

2/8/16 – The Chance/Hercules/4Paws 1 Heart Socks Sale begins today and will last one week. Ten pairs of socks have to be sold before production begins so please share, share, share. Here is the link to purchase your specially designed socks where a percentage of the profit will go to helping the abandoned and abused like Chance and Hercules.https://www.bakdrop.com/campaigns/4paws/

Just in case you forgot. Chance came to 4 Paws 1 Heart from a high-kill shelter with both of his back legs paralyzed. After several months of therapy and loving care from his foster mom, our little Superhero is walking again. Hercules came to us from an animal control officer who made the owner surrender little two-month old Hercules after learning that the owner broke both of Hercules’ back legs because “he got into the garbage”. Dr. Tari Kern of Pawsitive Steps Rehabilitation & Therapy for Pets worked miracles for Chance and Hercules to make them the healthy pets they are today. ~ Please share and let’s get some socks sold. ~ Thanks, diana4 Paws Crew Socks
