Hope – Multiple Breaks and Pregnant – Now a Second Chance at Life

12/26/14 – On this day after Christmas, we continue to feel blessed that because of our generous supporters, we are able to help our rescue friends when they have difficult cases Hope is one of those. A Rejoyceful Animal Rescue answered a call for help. This beautiful female was lying on the front lawn of a home in Detroit; she kept trying to get up but couldn’t. Upon arriving at Wilson Veterinary, she was found to be pregnant, have multiple breaks in her pelvis and leg, potential damage to her organs, and the skin on one side of her leg was scraped off by having been dragged. It became clear early on that none of the babies she was carrying could be saved and she remained in critical condition. It is now a few days later and, thankfully, she is improving. Please follow Hope’s progress on the A Rejoyceful Animal Rescue facebook page. ~ dianaHopew:rejoycefulanimalrescue

Bottle Babies – Noel, Kringle, Jingle and Little Rudolph

12/25/14 – These sweet days-old babies, Noel, Kringle, Jingle, and poor little Rudolph are in the nursery trying to get warm enough to eat. Rudolph is struggling already, although he is a fighter. These babies, needing to be bottle fed, were taken in by our good friend, Amanda Morris, from Advanced Animal Emergency, Clinton Township, MI. We will be looking for forever homes when these babies are old enough. In the mean time, please say some Christmas prayers, especially for little Rudolph. This is a very critical stage for baby kittens.1470129_876659799032986_4957647281583402557_n-1 10882289_876659619033004_2389837329969633897_n 1924372_876659935699639_3184188162428694117_n

Old Friends Helped by 4 Paws 1 Heart – Sammi

12/24/14 – More Christmas Happiness from our friend and Sammi’s mom, Dori Bingham. Sammi was brought into the emergency in September, 2011. Eight-week old Sammi was dying of parvo and had a broken neck; the owner brought her in to be euthanized. Instead, the staff talked the owner into surrendering her to 4 Paws 1 Heart. After intensive medical treatment and a lot of love and attention from our Gina, Sammi survived and was adopted to a phenomenal family who continues to be friends and active supporters of 4 Paws 1 Heart. Here is what Sammi looked like when she was brought in and what she looks like today after 3+ years of love and affection. ~ dianaSammi9:19:11 Sammi12:24:14

Merry Christmas from Halo (aka Jingles)

1010813_876119672420332_6935070212029984825_n12/23/14 – We love hearing from our friends who have adopted the babies we’ve helped with not only their medical bills but where Gina and the hospital staff made such an investment. Here is our Jingles (aka Halo) and his transformation. Here is the message we just received from Carol (his mom) and his updated photo. Pure Love – diana“He was brought in to Gina at the clinic on New Years day last year…frostbitten, starving, and very sick. She kept him at the clinic for two weeks, then I took him home. Well, now he weighs over 15 lbs. and healthy. I can’t get over how well-behaved he is! He loves looking out the windows at the birds and squirrels all day long! I tried to take his picture under the tree, but he won’t sit still, so this will have to do. Merry Christmas! ~ Carol”

Pregnant and Alone – Looking For a Quiet Home to Have and Nurse Her Babies

12/24/14 – Happy Christmas Eve Morning! We need the help of our friends to share this pregnant sweetheart who was found in Emmet, Michigan wandering in the early snow of November. Our 4p1h friend, Michelle, has been caring for her and has regularly taken her to the vet but Mama really needs a safe place where it is quiet and without a lot of animals so that she can nurse her babies (once they are born) without worry. Mama doesn’t seem to like cats and Michelle is very sure that she was at one time someone’s pet who was just dumped in the rural area as so many are. If anyone would like to take this sweetheart in and foster until everyone can get a home, please contact Michele at 586-839-7215. Thanks, dianamichelleboran-pregnantcat12:23:14
