6/14/16 – The Father’s Day Challenge! Once again, we have a generous benefactor who would like to match all donations made to 4 Paws 1 Heart from now until Father’s Day, June 19. The benefactor will not only match dollar for dollar through this period, but will also add a special bonus if our friends donate a total of $2,500. What a thoughtful way to honor our fathers who have given us unconditional love and support. My dad was only 18 when I was born and I thank God every day he is still with me to offer advice and, now, to just be a friend. He has three rescue cats who adore him and whom he adores; one of whom, he actually leash trained. I can’t think of a better Father’s Day gift, then a gift in honor of his love for animals; not to mention, all that he’s done for me.
