Bridgette – No Longer a Mom-To-Be Needs Her Forever Home.

3/18/15 – Bridgette was another of the many cats rescued from the hoarder house. For some reason, it was thought she was pregnant and went to our great foster mom friend, Denise, while we waited for her to have her babies. Here is an update from Foster Mom, Denise:

“So we were getting a little concerned when Bridgette’s belly was not growing, so we took her to see Gina tonight. Turns out it was a false alarm, Bridgette is not pregnant after all. She is a beautiful girl who loves people, kids, cats and dogs. Actually, she’s perfect! Soon she will be spayed and get her vaccines and she will be ready for her forever home. I must admit I was sure looking forward to sweet little kittens, but it looks like Bridgette is completely happy being the center of attention! Thank you Debra Berolatti for taking us tonight. If you are interested in giving Bridgette a forever home, please contact me at [email protected] Denise”Bridgette3:18:15

The Love of An Animal Will Be Yours Forever – Bella

3/15/15 – Dear Friends, It is truly up to us to advocate for the voiceless. I share our friend, Tonya’s, heartfelt message not to make you sad but for you to have further proof of the importance of animals in our lives. They give us love, they give us purpose, and in our last hours give us comfort. ~ diana

That resident passed away today. Bella stayed with her all day. When Lillian passed away today Bella laid on her hand to say goodbye. I usually contact you when I’m in need, so I thought I would share a sad but extremely sweet story. Bella was an abused starving stray when I got her and brought her to our facility!! ~ Tonya”

Dumped at Least Two Times – This Sweet Boy is Looking for a Forever Home

3/13/15 – Let’s make this a happy Friday the 13th for this sweet boy who has been dumped not only once but TWICE. A follower of 4p1h contacted us about a cat he found freezing in below zero temperatures. The cat was very friendly and we assumed he had been abandoned or lost. Travis, the rescuer, took the freezing cat to the vet where a microchip was found. Unfortunately that particular vet gave Travis the chip number and said “Good Luck”. After days of the microchip company trying to contact the owner, Travis’ vet jumped in to help. Here is what was found — the microchip was done by the Michigan Humane Society; Travis was then able to contact the owner who told Travis that he gave the cat to a friend. Travis then contacted the friend who said that he no longer wanted the cat and “put him outside”. Who in the HE__ does this in the middle of February in below zero temperatures??? This poor mistreated boy is approximately 3 years old, neutered, and allegedly up to date on his shots. A foster/adopter is critically needed in that Travis’ is highly allergic. If you can help with this abused boy, please contact Travis at [email protected]. ~ dianatravis'dumpedcat3:13:15

Bridgette – Pregnant and Recently Removed from a House with Dozens of Cats

3/10/11 – Good Morning from Bridgette. This sweet momma has gone from a life filled with filth, dozens of other cats — ferals and domesticated, and little attention. Today she is with her fantastic foster mom, Denise Najera. She is much loved and cared for while we wait for this beautiful girl to have her kittens. 4 Paws 1 Heart is very thankful that we could be there to pay the medical bills for all of these innocent creatures found in the hoarder’s home. ~ diana

Foster Mom’s Report:  Our beautiful foster Bridgette  Bridgette came from a hoarding house, we are so thankful she was saved by Melanie Wittner of Hopeful Heart Rescue along with many other cats & kittens. All her vetting is generously being provided by 4 Paws 1 Heart. Love & care provided by myself, Michelle VanDaele and of course Oliver! Bridgette is going to be a mama in a few weeks and we are soooooo excited! 4 Paws 1 Heart has comitted to not only take care of Bridgettes medical needs, but also her babies when the time comes. Obviously Bridgette will not be available for adoption until after she has her babies and they are weaned. And these great photos are courtesy of good friend Maureen Demers which was no easy task becuse Bridgette is in constant motion the minute you want to take her pic! Thankyou so much Maureen!

Blitzen – Along in a Parking Lot with an Injured Leg – Recovering and Looking For Her Forever Home

3/8/15 – Blitzen was found in a dark parking lot not being able to use one of her legs. A good samaritan brought her to the emergency and she was found to have a smashed paw. There was speculation that she would have to have her leg amputated. Fortunately, our good friends at Tigerlily Cat Rescue took her in and have been working very hard to save her leg. Look at how beautiful she is!  Here is a message from Tigerlily Cat Rescue ~ diana

“Update for 4 Paws 1 Heart on this little sweetie …
Adorable little Blitzen had a photo shoot yesterday! She is such an adorable and funny little girl. Next week is her 3rd week of cold laser therapy on her crushed front paw – she’s not the best patient for the laser as sitting still is not really her thing! But, we are seeing her use the paw more!!!”blitzen3:7:15

Who Leaves Behind Innocent Pets in a Locked Home Without Food/Water – Wisker and Pixel

3/8/15 – These little sweethearts were left behind when their guardians were evicted. Seriously, who does that???? Unfortunately the response to that is “far too many subhumans”. Wisker (black male) and Pixel (orange female) will be vetted, vaccinated, tested, and spayed/neutered complements of 4 Paws 1 Heart. If you are interested in giving them a forever, loving home, please contact [email protected] ~ dianawiskerandpixel3:6:15joaddington
