Blitzen – Still Trying to Save His Leg
2/21/15 – Our friends might remember that Blitzen was brought into the emergency hospital in mid-December after she was seen limping through a parking lot in Madison Heights, MI. It was determined that her paws was smashed, Our good friends with Tigerlily Cat Rescue kindly took her in and we have continued our commitment to her medical care. Here is an update and a her most recent photo along with what she looked like when she was first brought in. ~ diana

Izzy – Almost Dead Under a House Before a Blizzard Strikes – Now Looking For His Forever Home
2/21/15 – I can’t get enough of this success story. A couple more hours and Izzy would have been dead and maybe never found because of the snow storm we received not long after. Now look at him. Submit an application on this website. ~ diana
“Izzy!!! I cant believe how far Izzy has come from that critically ill kitty under a porch to now relaxing with his foster brother Oliver. Izzy is still looking for his purrrfect furever home. Thanks to your donations 4 Paws 1 Heart was able to keep Izzy in the hospital at Animal Urgent & Critical Care for the almost 2wks it took for Izzy to be well enough to leave and continue meds in foster. 4 Paws also paid for Izzys neuter and vaccines that he will be recieving very soon. Izzy snap tested neg for any feline diseases, gets along well with easy going cats and cat loving dogs. Hes a very good boy and loves to snuggle close. HOPE – Thrown Out with His Mom and 2 Siblings
2/14/15 – This is Hope. He is one of 3 cats thrown out by a neighbor of a 4 Paws 1 Heart friend. She contacted us because although she has been feeding him for the past 8 months, he needed our help. Hope had a very nasty wound on his leg. Of course we agreed to help with medical and after receiving treatment, he is ready to go to a forever home. Please share this handsome boy. Good News! – Sharla and Tobias Have Been Adopted
SHARLA – Abandoned In Her Own Home – Now Looking for a Forever Family
– She is very playful
– Warms up to other cats well. They chase and play with each other ( still integrating her in with the dogs so unsure about them but think she would be fine )
– Can be a little nervous and hide if there is too much going on
– Loves to chase balls around
– Very sweet
– Always happy to see me. She greets me with a meow, an arch of her back and rubs my leg.
– Likes to explore and sit near the window in the sun
– Needs to be brushed regularly. She mats really easily. Especially her little lions mane around her face.
– Very dainty and little girl like. Takes small bites. Delicately prances around and petite. She is only 6-7 lbs. Very cute.
SOUP – One Year Later in his Forever Home
2/10/15 – His pelvis was broken while his head was stuck in a soup can. After one year with Aunt Gina, our boy Soup (on the right) found his forever loving home. Thank You, MaryBeth. ~ diana

Izzy – In His New Foster Home

Our new foster Izzy!!! Izzy was such a sick kitty, but thanks to good samaritans Maureen & her niece Shelly he was transported to Animal Urgent & Critical Care Center on the instuctions of Diana Rascano of 4 Paws 1 Heart who immediately put a plan into action when she got my urgent call about this kitty. He was delivered into the waiting arms of Gina DeLuca who immediately went to work saving his life with intravenous fluids, antibiotics, nebulizer treatments and love. He is now doing great and ready for his forever home. He’s a big bundle of love who loves to be in your lap and get lots of attention. Cant believe the transformation! This is what your donated dollars to 4 Paws 1 Heart go for, saving lives like Izzys. Izzy is snap tested neg & neutered and will soon recieve his vaccines.
