8/17/17 – New Beginnings from our friend, Heather Sterner”

“Well it’s official Butch, now Eli is Phoenix’s first cat! She paid for his adoption fee herself and the two couldn’t be happier! Thank you to Roberta Kretz for giving him a chance and giving Phoenix the opportunity to have her very own kitty. Thank you toDiana Rascano and 4Paws 1Heart for covering his medical costs. These two will have a nice long life together growing up. He will be there for her during her high school years, college, break ups, triumphs and so much more. They are a really good team and to deny them would be a sin! ~ Heather”

8/17/17 – Unfortunately, not all dogs and cats can be socialized to live inside a home. As much as I hate to see any cat or dog living outside, we have to deal with reality. We were contacted about ‘Gilly’ who had been living in the woods but being fed by a kind woman. We absolutely agreed to pay for Gilly to be neutered, vaccinated, and treated for fleas/parasites. Gilly is back outside but the homeowner is making sure he is well fed and sheltered with his own ‘feral’ house. ~ diana

8/16/17 – Meet Paisley. Another beautiful animal saved from the dangers of the street. Anyone interested in adopting this cutie should contact Sharon at:[email protected] Also, this is Tobias. A little baby we helped in December, 2015. Tobias was found in the cold outside of a hospital where the rescuer worked. At the time he was found, he was obviously scruffed up from living on the streets, had fleas and mites but with medical attention and love, he is the handsome boy you see here. ~ diana

8/15/17 – Diana was rescued during a TNR project and is now being fostered by our good friend Heather.

8/15/17: EDIT: DIANA IS PENDING! WILL KEEP EVERYONE UPDATED! Diana is a 14ish week old baby girl. She’s very smart, friendly and pretty laid back. She plays, but would much rather relax. She’s friendly, but not too outgoing. She’s patient and gentle. She’s socialized with other cats, dogs and kids. She loves other cats and doesn’t mind dogs. She’s spayed, utd on her shots, de-wormed & de-flea’d. She’s ready to go to her furever home. If you’d like to give this little lady a change, ask me about our weekend trial program. Diana will be on the small side, with medium to long hair. 8/15/17 – We received the following report from our rescue friend, Kelly Hook.

“This is a kitten I fostered for about 2 weeks and he went to the vet a few times when I had him because of diarrhea .Thought he was getting better and He went to an amazing foster Brandi Brown on Friday by Sunday she called that he was worse and couldn’t stand Dee Dee Amlin Valoczky and I rushed Huck to Wilson vet his temp was 91 and he felt cold plus other issues .Today we got an update that he’s feeling a little better and his temp his normal 😊😊😊❤️❤️❤️ keep fighting Huck you have so many people who love you Emily Karolski Diana Rascano“

We are very happy to work with independent rescuers who try to make a difference in our communities by attempting to reduce the overpopulation of cats. In the process of trap/neuter/return, Kelly has found several kittens who we have been glad to assist with medical needs. In most cases it is simply a matter of spay/neuter, vaccines, and testing. Here are some of those kittens we have assisted. ~ diana

Meet ” Batman ”
He was recently found outside as an orphan kitten. We took him in under 4 Paws 1 heart, and one of the employees at the hospital has been working closely with him the last few days. She is trying to get him to trust people because he was scared to death. He has made a ton of improvement in just a few days, and I have no doubt he will come around. Batman needs someone who will love him and teach him that humans are not going to hurt him. We don’t know if he was dumped, hurt by someone, or just scared to death. Normally, a young kitten like this is not that terrified even if they have never been held by a human. Please message me on here or email me for more information. He is about 8 weeks old. 8/14/15 – Meet Rosie
My mom has a place up north and the other day she heard something screaming in the cornfield. Outcomes running this little kitten! Yesterday, Rosie was checked out by a veterinarian, vaccinated, dewormed, feluk/fiv tested and she appears very healthy. She needs placement as soon as possible. We do not have a foster, a rescue, or a permanent home lined up.. Please private message me or email me for more information.
