Hercules Share a Huge Thank You to our Supporters
2/28/16 – A huge thank you to all of our friends who came out to support 4 Paws 1 Heart — all 154 of you – at our 60’s Revolution Fundraiser. It truly was a great night with Gina’s brothers, Eric and Vince, playing the tunes from the 60’s–Motown to the British Invasion. Although the food was not up to our usual standards, I hope that everyone who attended had a great time making new friends, enjoying the music, and making a difference for the abandoned and abused. ~ diana
Rambo, Precious, and Mia – Rescued from the Streets
2/28/16 – Some of our friends might be interested in the Oscars but our focus continues to be on the number of fur babies who need our help. Meet Rambo, Precious, and Mia. They were rescued and fostered by Jacque T. We will be paying for their spaying/neutering, and second round of vaccines. Everyone is spoken for — yeah!! More abandoned animals off of the mean streets!! ~ diana
Emily Rose and Pinky – No Food or Fresh Water for Two Weeks and Suffering From Cerebellar Hypoplasia
2/26/16 – Update on Emily Rose and Pinky: An even sadder story than what we thought originally. On February 24 we posted that Emily Rose and Pinky’s owner died and the family was going to take them to a shelter. Friends of 4 Paws 1 Heart, Nicole and Jo A. jumped into action to find a foster and contacted 4 Paws 1 Heart to see if we would pay medical expenses. (of course we said ‘yes’
The back story on these poor babies is that they were alone in the house for TWO weeks after the owner died — no fresh food or water. The family had not been in contact with the owner for many years and did not know there were cats in the home. After the cats were almost given away to someone found on Craig’s List, Jo was able to pick up Emily Rose and Pinky last night. They found some medical paper work that indicated both cats have CH (Cerebellar Hypoplasia) which is a non-progressive, non-contagious neurological condition which results in walking and balance problems. Also, Emily Rose is 15 years old; we don’t know just yet about Pinky.
Fortunately, with heavy networking, an experienced CH foster who volunteers for our friends at Ferndale Cat Shelter, stepped up and offered to foster these sweeties. Emily Rose and Pinky have been through a very traumatic time – losing their mom, being alone for two weeks, being transferred from one home to another, and being taken to the vet to get a wellness check. But, they will now be loved and cared for because of so many people working together. It’s up to all of us to make a difference. ~ diana
Peanut – A Sad Victim of Domestic Violence
2/26/16 – Meet Peanut. He was a victim from terrible domestic violence. He has a broken leg and broken ribs which never healed properly. He also has several b.b.’s under his skin. And with all of that, he had a cyst on his leg. Fortunately, he was rescued from this horrendous situation by Danielle H. and she contacted 4 Paws 1 Heart for help. We were happy to give this very sweet, abused boy a second chance at a good life. Your dollars make miracles happen. ~ diana

2/25/16 – Fritz Update,
This is another one of the boys from my litter of 5. He went to his new home on Valentines Day, and here he is napping with his big sister. Again, I can not be happier with how healthy and happy they all turned out. They will bring so much joy and love into their new homes. ♡ ♡ ♡ Gina
