Storm Ravaged Kittens

8/12/14 – These four young kittens, requiring bottle feeding, were rescued by Warren ACO, Lisa T., this afternoon.  After putting out a call for help on our Facebook page we were able to find a foster to take them in while a rescue could be found.  Fortunately, our great friends at Tigerlily Cat Rescue took them under their paw.rainstormkittens8:13:14 ~ dianarainstormkittens

DUSTY – Loses Her Babies

8/12/14 – Dusty Update 10:00 a.m. – Dusty’s baby’s born at the house all died during the night or at birth.  I just heard from the doctor at the Animal Health Associates Veterinary. Dusty has one more baby in her who was not viable. We decided that the best decision would be to spay Dusty and make sure she is out of danger and can now receive medication. Words cannot express how much I appreciate the help of this wonderful staff and I’m sure that Jen will agree. Dusty will be scheduled for surgery today. Keep her in your prayers. ~ diana

DUSTY – Having Premature Babies

8/12/14 – dustyatpregnancy8:12:14Last night she went into labor much earlier than expected. It was a long night for this sweetheart while she gave birth to 3 babies; two of whom were dead and another who was barely alive and died shortly after. The babies were still in their sac and the placenta remained in Dusty and it appears she has more babies in her. She is being taken to the hospital this morning as soon as they open. I’m not only concerned about Dusty and her babies but I’m concerned on what medical treatment she will require. I will report on her progress as it becomes known. We may need your help. Thank You! ~ diana
