1/21/16 – We are so happy to hear from the many Good Samaritans who don’t turn their back on the homeless. We fund the medical treatment and they provide shelter and forever homes — the perfect partnership. Here is a message from our 4p1h friend, Kathy Bl., who, since she sent me this message, has captured two more cats from the bitter cold and 4p1h paid for the medical treatment. This is Bootsie and Fluffy. It truly takes a village to make a difference! ~ diana

“Diana, I just want to thank you and your Team and the Partners that take care of the needs of all our loving furry friends.
I have never been more excited to help rescue and make a difference in our fur babies lives!! Cutie was the first kitten I rescued and she is happy and healthy in a home where she is treated like a princess. Bootsie is the second rescue and she’s very gentle and loving. She will be living with me and my family. I’m making great progress socializing her. The third rescue I call Fluffy and we will try to socialize her as well after she has been spayed. Fingers crossed that she can also have a furever home!!

1/18/16 – Harper went to his new forever home with new mommy “Becky”.♡ His visit at Veterinary Vision went very well and Dr. Easton said that there was just scar tissue in his eye. He went from the cold, lonely street to a warm, loving, forever home. ♡Gina

1/17/16 – Remember Karma? He was rescued from the streets; emaciated and with a severe upper respiratory infection. His rescuer took him to a vet who recommended his eye be removed. When we were contacted by the rescuer, we decided to get one more opinion. The doctor diagnosed Karma with herpes of the eye and felt that eye removal was not needed. Karma, like our boy Snickers, would just need eye drops when he has flare ups. I am so thankful that Andrea offered to take this sweet boy in and for our great friends at Tigerlily for taking him into their rescue. Wishing our sweet boy a lifetime of chasing catnip filled mice. ~ diana
