6/2517 – As our friends continue to conduct TNR (trap/neuter/return), kittens who should be in a home are found. These are two of approximately 10 rescued this past week by our good friends, Roberta and Charlotte, and being fostered by our friend Gail G. We are thankful for the hard work of all of our friends and we are honored to sponsor their work by paying for basic vet needs which always include spay/neuter, vaccines, and other treatment for infections and parasites. ~ diana

Daisy – Found Tied to a Tree Without Food or Water
6/23/17 – Meet Daisy. She was found tied to a tree with no food or water. Two very kind men working in the area, untied her, bought her food, and brought her in. It appeared she had a broken leg so we were called. Daisy was seen by one of the vets we work with and it was determined that Daisy did, in fact, had breaks that had healed over. It was recommended that Daisy’s leg be amputated. The doctor wanted to wait until Daisy, who was also emaciated, was healthier. So, we decided to take the opportunity to have Dr. Kern assess Daisy’s break before the leg is amputated just in case a prosthesis or therapy would be in order. One of the rescuers will be keeping Daisy for his own and we are very thankful that they contacted us. I will keep everyone updated. ~ diana
Trap, Neuter, Return – Does Not Always Mean Return
6/22/17 – Thank you, Charlotte, for your continued dedication to trapping cats/kittens and working with us to get them spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and tested. In most cases these kittens can be easily socialized and even in the case of older kittens/cats, it is found that they were probably pets at one time. Thank God for the many caring people who continue to put animal welfare at the forefront. ~ diana
Donations for Every Occasion – Thank YOU
6/21/17 – Thank You Ryan and Colleen for your generous donation in lieu of favors at your recent wedding ceremony. Also, thank you for giving loving homes to Bruno and Enzo — both rescued by Gina and fostered by her. They are definitely living the life! May you have many, many years of love and happiness. ~ diana

“Hmmm, where to start? Like mom says, every week somebody needs something. Soooo, mom noticed a booboo on my chest Saturday and was very concerned about it annnd being a cat of course I kept licking it making it worse, thus the tshirt. So of course mom called 4 Paws 1 Heart and an appointment was made for me for today. The good news is its nothing serious, its either a pimple thingy that popped or I ran into something sharp that I shouldnt have and mom will be doing a sweep of the house for that. My booboo is not infected, they flushed it and gave me an antibiotic shot and all will soon be well! Lets see, what else. Oh yes! And Carla has just the start of a uti, so an antibiotic shot for her was also needed, thankyou 4 Paws 1 Heart! Lets see now, hmmm..anything else to report? Oh yeah! Notice an odd kid in these pics??? Yep! Guess whos coming for dinner? Yep, thats a baby skunk!!! Sooo, while we were at the vets a very nice man came in with this kid he found on the side of the road. He was sooo upset becuse he had already went to 2 other vets and nobody would take him and the poor little thing needed to be fed!!! Mom, we cant let him starve!!! So long story short with Auntie Debra Berolatti stepping up to buy the proper formula & bottle and moms feeding skills this little cutie is at our house and hes been fed, stimulated to potty and is now sleeping all cuddled up. Tonight a wonderful vet tech will pick him up and take over, but for today he is our guest at Hotel Chance ❤ Never a dull moment! 😂❤”
