12/2/22 – A huge thank you to the 96 supporters who came out on a cold and blustery night to support the many animals helped by 4 Paws 1 Heart. The Firehouse Pub and Grill provided delicious food and the staff and chef kept the food and refreshments coming throughout the night. David (DJ) Kurlee put his DJ skills to work being our ‘caller’— even without a mic for part of the event. And he brought the crowd to tears when he told the story of his daring rescue of his now dear Maddie, found on the side of a freeway and medically helped by 4 Paws 1 Heart.

Now we look forward to today’s (11:59 am) launch of Round 2 of the Detroit News Holiday Cheer for Charity contest where the charity who raises the most dollars in donations will win $20,000! The link to make your donations will be announced at launch. As we approach the cold, dark days of winter, we know how the need will be even greater. So, all hands on deck and paws crossed for a win! – diana
