DETROIT NEWS HOLIDAY CHEER FOR CHARITY CONTEST BEGINS TODAY AT NOON!

Hello friends! Here’s the link we’ve all been waiting for. Please share to help us spread the news. Our goal is to raise the most money (of five charities) to win $20,000 from the Detroit News. Thank you so much for your support!

**PLEASE NOTE: When donating, YOU CAN opt out of the auto-generated tip or modify it as you wish. The tip is not for the charities in the contest.

Once at the Detroit News/FundRazr site you can choose any amount other than the preset ones.
Then at the next screen the tip amount can be changed.

Finally at the next screen, if you wish, you can completely opt out of any tip at all.

Tips are also explained here, the tips do not go to 4Paws1Heart or any of the 4 other charities in the contest, the tips go to FundRazr – the origination running the contest for the Detroit News. They may deserve tips, there was some confusion, we wanted to clarify – you can choose.

FIREHOUSE PUB FUNDRAISER A BIG SUCCESS

12/2/22 – A huge thank you to the 96 supporters who came out on a cold and blustery night to support the many animals helped by 4 Paws 1 Heart. The Firehouse Pub and Grill provided delicious food and the staff and chef kept the food and refreshments coming throughout the night. David (DJ) Kurlee put his DJ skills to work being our ‘caller’— even without a mic for part of the event. And he brought the crowd to tears when he told the story of his daring rescue of his now dear Maddie, found on the side of a freeway and medically helped by 4 Paws 1 Heart.

Now we look forward to today’s (11:59 am) launch of Round 2 of the Detroit News Holiday Cheer for Charity contest where the charity who raises the most dollars in donations will win $20,000! The link to make your donations will be announced at launch. As we approach the cold, dark days of winter, we know how the need will be even greater. So, all hands on deck and paws crossed for a win! – diana
