Symone – Found Laying in the Street with the Parvo Virus

9/2/19/ – Please pray for this baby. Symone was found laying on the streets in serious distress. She was found to have parvo virus which is deadly. We were thankful to send some money to the vet to help the rescue, Streethearts, with what could be some very high medical bills. Thank you to our many supporters who make this happen.- diana

Kit Kat, Janet, and Michael – Mom and Babies Rescued from the Streets

8/30/19 – No matter how many animals are spayed/neutered, the over population never seems to end. We are just thankful for people, like Kirk Schubring Sr, who will open their homes and hearts to taking in these homeless innocents. It truly takes a village. – diana

Luke – Needs Part of His Tail Amputated

8/30/19 – A couple of evenings ago, our friend Debra was able to catch 7 kittens who desperately needed attention. Three kittens went to expert rescuer and four went to Chance’s mom. All with the commitment that 4 Paws 1 Heart would cover medical when needed. Well, this little guy, who appears to be the runt of the litter, needed help sooner than expected. A part of his tail bone was totally exposed and needed to be seen by a doctor before it became infected. Fortunately, Luke was able to be seen within a few hours and here is the report from Chance:

“Well our Luke is home. Thankfully they were able to just numb his tail instead of the risky procedure of knocking him out when he’s sooo little. So he got his little tail numbed and docked just above where the bone was exposed and then 1 little stitch put in. Mom says she can tell he feels better already. He ate a good dinner, used the litter box and now he’s sound asleep! And you cant even tell that his tail is just a wee bit shorter then it should be, and we don’t have to worry about any infection & pain down the road. Thank you Dr. Lynch and 4 Paws 1 Heart for being there for little Luke. – Chance”luke 8:28:19luke 8:28:19===

Garfield and Louie – Community Cats with Upper Respiratory Infections and Ear Mites

8/29/19 – Garfield and Louie are both community cats who had upper respiratory infections and ear mites. We were happy to take care of those issues as well as spay/neuter/vaccinate. We are so thankful for those who care for cat communities and work so hard to trap/neuter/spay/ and take care of the other medical issues that befall on these poor defenseless animals. ~ diana

Luke and LeLou – Two of Seven Kittens Rescued on the Street

8/29/19 – Yesterday our friend Debra rescued 7 young kittens in her neighborhood. Of course 4p1h will be medically backing them. Another is pretty emaciated but his foster mom, Patricia, is experienced with this. Please say a prayer for the many animals roaming the streets without anyone to care for them.  This is Luke, one of four taken in by Chance’s mom and Lelou, taken in by Patricia B. – diana

Pancake – When They Learned She Had Heart Worm; Everyone But One Abandoned Her

8/28/19 – Pancake was being fostered by someone who thought she was fostering for a high-kill shelter. But, when Pancake was diagnosed with heart worm, no one at the shelter would claim her. The foster took care of Pancake’s first 30 days of antibiotics, but she could not afford the final treatment. And, that’s when we were called in. We were happy to take care of Pancake’s heart worm treatment; treatment will start soon. Without 4 Paws 1 Heart and Ashleigh, the amazing foster, Pancake would have been euthanized. Pancake may have a furever home after her treatments are complete. If you are interested, contact Asheigh at: [email protected]. As is usual, a huge thank you to our supporters who make our help possible. ~ diana

Ramona and Beezus- Dropped Off at Midnight on the Porch of a Known Rescuer

8/27/19 – Meet Ramona and Beezus. They were dropped off at midnight at the rescuer’s home. Their eyes weren’t even open yet. We have since taken care of their vaccines, testing, and spay/neuter. But, shortly after her spay, Ramona was acting listless. We had her immediately seen by one of our partner vets and it was determined that Ramona had an infection resulting from her surgery. Everyone is doing great now. Ramona is the torti and Beezus is the striped cutie. ~ diana

Lucky – Found on the Streets; No Owner Could Be Found

8/26/19 – Lucky (the Husky) was found on the streets without any tags or identification. For several weeks, the rescuers attempted to find Lucky’s owner. When no owner could be found, they contacted us for help with getting Lucky vaccinated, tested, and neutered. Thankfully, Lucky tested negative for heart worm and he is scheduled for his neuter. He has become fast friends with the rescuers’ other dog and has taken over the hearts of the family. ~ diana

Clara, Blondie, Hershey, Fera – Found on the Street Needing the Help of 4p1h

8/25/19 – A huge thank you for all of the love, votes, and donations. I sincerely can’t express how humbled I am, personally, by the support you’ve given us over the past 9 years. The number of animals we’ve been able to save has been more than we ever expected when we began this journey. And, what is not counted in the 6,000 animals who have been seen by our partner veterinarians, are the many animals who will never be born only to die on the streets because every animal we help is neutered or spayed.  Here are a few more of the kitties (Clara, Blondie, Hershey, Fera) we’ve helped along the way. ~ dianaclara 1:29:19 blondie 8:25:19 clara, blondie, hershey fera 8:24:19 fera 8:24:19
