Noelle Survives

12/14/15 Update: Noelle is doing great and on the mend! She did end up receiving a plasma transfusion, and now that she’s eating we can start oral meds. Huge thanks to everyone at the Animal Urgent Care and Harper Woods Vet. They’ve put a ton of intensive care into getting Noelle through this Parvo Virus. ~ GinaNoelle 12:14:15

Thank You, Venus and Jeff. ~ dianaSomerset (akaSophie)12:12:15

Noelle – Fights for Her Life

12/11/15 – Noelle--12:11:15Noelle12:11:15We still need your prayers tonight for our sweet Noelle as she is fighting to survive from Parvo Virus.. She had 3 bouts of bloody diarrhea throughout the day, and she is still not interested in food. Good thing is no vomiting today. The doctors and staff are doing everything possible while Noelle is hospitalized at the Emergency. She may need a Plasma Transfusion depending on her blood values at 9am. We will update again this evening. ♡ Gina

Keisha – Left Behind When Her Owners Moved

12/10/15 – Meet Keisha. Another beauty left behind by an owner in a condominium complex. She already had two litters before she was rescued by a caring resident. She is now ready to find her forever, loving home complements of 4 Paws 1 Heart. Keisha has been spayed and vaccinated and she tested negative for FIV/Felv. Please contact Angels for Animals if you are interested in adopting this sweetie. ~ dianakeisha 12:10:15

Noelle – Another Baby With Parvo Virus is Brought into the ER

12/10/15 Our newest addition needs your prayers tonight because she has a 50/50 chance of survival. We are calling her Noelle.. She is 5 months old and was diagnosed with Parvo Virus. She was surrendered because the family had no money for treatment, and we committed to taking over her care. This is the 2nd litter of puppies their dog has had with Parvo Virus, and yet again the animal that didn’t choose to be born is suffering. A puppy from their last litter suffered to death from the same thing and had to be euthanized. They waited 2 days before bringing this pup in knowing she likely had parvo. Now she is skin and bones with bloody diarrhea and vomiting. The point is, people that can not financially take care of an animal shouldn’t have one! If there were repercussions this might happen less often, but people are allowed to breed. People are allowed to adopt and people use their animals as a means of income. There is NO excuse for this to have happened again. This puppy is old enough to have been fully vaccinated and she isn’t. The mom should have been fixed after the last litter died. Please say prayers for this baby girl and please keep her in your thoughts.noelle 12:10:15

Winston – Taking A Nap Before He Goes to His Foster Family

12/9/15 Nap time and lots of love just before going to the rescue group. I’m happy to report that our handsome man is on to the next chapter in his journey. He will be fully evaluated, and then placed in the perfect home. He came to us a few weeks ago with a gun shot wound which resulted in amputation of his rear leg. He is moving around great! I want to thank our supporters who have donated and ultimately made this possible. Without you we couldn’t do what we do. I would also like to thank the doctors and staff for doing an amazing job taking care of his medical needs. Lastly, a huge thank you to “Mutts of Motown Rescue Group”, for stepping up and making room in a moments notice to find this guy permanent placement. We are so greatful! ♡ Gina

Malcolm – Update

12/8/15 – Malcolm was rescued along with 3 other siblings in late September, 2015. 4 Paws 1 Heart took care of their medical needs and in October, 2015 reported on them and explained a condition they had called Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH) which is a non-progressive, non-contagious neurological condition which effects motor skills and coordination. Some of the babies had more severe symptoms than the others. Since then, all have found their way into their forever homes and Malcolm’s mom sent us the before and after photo. We are so happy to share these “Great Beginning” updates. ~ dianamalcolm before, 2015malcolmw:brittanyhart12:1:15malcolm12:8:15
