Azul – When His Owner Lost Her Home, So Did He

7/20/15 – Meet Azul – He is a 5 year old Lynx Point Himalayan. His owner got sick and lost her home. The people who agreed to care for him, tossed him outside where he became very matted. He was also not neutered. One of our Board members has rescued Azul and will try to find him a forever loving home. 4 Paws 1 Heart will take care of his medical needs. I will never be able to understand the cruelty some humans are capable of. ~ dianaazul7:20:15

Her Name is Raven

7/17/15 – We posted recently, looking for help for this stray kitty living underneath the porch of an abandoned home in Detroit. We were able to jump in and get her the emergency medical care she needed which happened to require extensive surgery. She was pregnant, had an abdominal wall hernia, and an ovarian cyst. The doctor is taking care of Raven while she recovers and then there is a home lined up for her when she is ready to go. This cat could have never survived during her pregnancy to term and she was living in pain. Please keep your cats indoors, so that this doesn’t happen to them.   Here she is now in her new home and earlier when she was in the hospital.raven7:17:17 raven7:15:15Gina

Onyx – Looking for Her Forever Home

7/17/15 – onyx7:17:15Onyx Update, It took 5 days of hospitalization and I am finally happy to report that Onyx is on the road to recovery. Although we don’t know what exactly caused her illness we do know that she had severe pancreatitis, she was losing her proteins, and it is questionable whether or not she had parvo. It took a plasma transfusion, several medications, IV fluids, and lots of intensive care to get her to this point. Her spirits are much better and she is eating well. We have her on oral medication and lots of love. We have covered all of her medical costs and we will be looking for the perfect home to continue her journey. Private message me if you would like more information. Gina
