Diana – Just a Kitten, She was Rescued During a TNR Project

8/15/17 – Diana was rescued during a TNR project and is now being fostered by our good friend Heather.

8/15/17: Diana 8:15:17 w:heather elizabethEDIT: DIANA IS PENDING! WILL KEEP EVERYONE UPDATED! Diana is a 14ish week old baby girl. She’s very smart, friendly and pretty laid back. She plays, but would much rather relax. She’s friendly, but not too outgoing. She’s patient and gentle. She’s socialized with other cats, dogs and kids. She loves other cats and doesn’t mind dogs. She’s spayed, utd on her shots, de-wormed & de-flea’d. She’s ready to go to her furever home. If you’d like to give this little lady a change, ask me about our weekend trial program. Diana will be on the small side, with medium to long hair. Special thank you to Charlotte for trapping this baby girl and giving her a chance and to Diana Rascano and 4Paws 1Heart for covering her medical costs. Lastly thank you to everyone who has shared my posts, your kindness is much appreciated. PLEASE SHARE!

Kittens Rescued by Kelly Hook and Medical Bills Paid by 4 Paws 1 Heart

8/15/17 – More lives saved by our friend Kelly Hook at: [email protected]
We are very happy to work with independent rescuers who try to make a difference in our communities by attempting to reduce the overpopulation of cats. In the process of trap/neuter/return, Kelly has found several kittens who we have been glad to assist with medical needs. In most cases it is simply a matter of spay/neuter, vaccines, and testing. Here are some of those kittens we have assisted. ~ diana kelly hook 1 8:15:17Kelly Hook #2 7:2017kelly hook 3 8:15:17:17Kelly hook 4 8:15:17kelly hook 5 8:15:17kelly hook 6 8:15:17

Batman – Just an Orphan Found all by Himself

Meet ” Batman ”
He was recently found outside as an orphan kitten. We took him in under 4 Paws 1 heart, and one of the employees at the hospital has been working closely with him the last few days. She is trying to get him to trust people because he was scared to death. He has made a ton of improvement in just a few days, and I have no doubt he will come around. Batman needs someone who will love him and teach him that humans are not going to hurt him. We don’t know if he was dumped, hurt by someone, or just scared to death. Normally, a young kitten like this is not that terrified even if they have never been held by a human. Please message me on here or email me for more information. He is about 8 weeks old. He Loves food and wants to burrow close to you to feel secure. [email protected]

Sneezy – Found With Fleas and an Upper Respiratory Infection

8/14/17 – Sneezy was rescued during a trap/neuter/return effort. He had an upper respiratory infection and fleas. He is a sweet kitten and 4 Paws 1 Heart is happy that we can be there for these animals who are born in the wild but not necessarily able to survive in it. Sneezy will also be neutered and vaccinated when healthy. Anyone interested in this little cutie should contact Brooke at: [email protected] . ~ dianasneezy 8:14:17

Stars and Stripes – Found in a Yard Where 4 Kittens Later Died

9/6/17 – Update:  Stars and Stripes were ‘victims’ of foster failures.  They have been officially adopted by their foster parents.

star 8:13:17stripes 8:13:178/11/17 – To say this has been one heck of a summer would be an understatement! Almost 7 years of spay/neuter (and that is just our one organization) and yet the kittens continue to keep coming out of every nook and cranny. And, not only, being seen, but being very sick with upper respiratory infections and with serious injuries. These two, Star and Stripes, were two of 8 kittens found in one yard. Unfortunately, four of the kittens, who were very young, did not survive. Two of the older kittens (Jodie and Josie) are surviving beautifully with our friend Patricia B. and have had their blood tested. Now, the last (?) two have been rescued. One of the kittens may be related to Jodie and because they were found in the same yard, they had their blood tested and all was negative. Star and Stripes are doing well and are looking for a rescue organization/foster or adopters. They are shy but are safe and living with their rescuer Christine. All medical has been taken care of by 4 Paws 1 Heart. Anyone who would like to foster/adopt Star and Stripes should contact: [email protected]

Kitten Found Unable to Walk

8/13/17 – kitten w:kelly hook 8:13:17So many of us have had the worst weekends this summer. It started again yesterday with a little emaciated, infected kitten rescued about 1 in the morning. He was treated at the emergency hospital and he is holding his own with his rescuer caring for him. Unfortunately, Lucky was totally different. After blood work it was determined that Lucky’s white blood cell count was almost non-existent. Prior to that he barely moved and couldn’t stand. The doctor believes he may have eaten poison. While on the table he started seizing uncontrollably and was humanely euthanized. RIP sweet Lucky. Thank you Kelly Hook for a heart bigger than Texas. – Diana

Felix – Found With What Appeared to Be One Eye

8/13/17 – We were contacted about this “one-eyed kitty” who turned up at a family’s home. The eye was bulging and it was obvious that he needed immediate help. As I am so thankful to say, we sent the family and the kitty (now known as Felix) to Parker Veterinary. Fortunately, it was determined that the eye could be saved and now Felix is a member of a very loving family. ~ diana
