Gizmo – Critically Ill; Found on the Streets

2/12/18 – Another happy beginning for Gizmo. I also want to do a huge shout out to Oakland Veterinary Referral Services (OVRS) for all of their analysis and recommendations and for keeping our expenses always in mind. The staff of Oakland Veterinary Referral Services truly puts the animals first. We are so happy for Gizmo. ~ diana

Huge Thank You to 4paws1heart, Diana and Rachel, for getting Gizmo (a tiny sick under 1lb kitten we rescued few months ago) the help and medical support he needed to get heathy and cleared for what we thought was going to be an outrageous surgery due to his birth defects being ignored from his 1st exam…but after 3 opinions and necessary tests, he’s going to be ok and on 3 meds to get him there! I couldn’t of did it with out you guys and those who support 4paws1heart!! Thank you!!😻gizmo w:jecol 2:9:18

Hazel – Her Owner No Longer Wanted Her

2/12/18 – Hazel’s owner no longer wanted her and was taking her to a high-kill shelter. Beyond general neglect, Hazel had a cherry eye that needed surgery. There is no doubt that Hazel would have quickly been euthanized. An independent rescuer was able to find a small rescue group who agreed to take in Hazel if her medical could be covered. We did and Hazel had her surgery last week and she is doing very well. Wishing Hazel a new and pain-free life. ~ dianahazel 1:31:18Hazel w:sandra abrahamian 1:31:18hazel 2:09:18

Ali (aka Bentley) – Stuck in a Recliner at Just Days Old – Survived Many Surgeries

Ali aka Bentley.
I recently got an update from Bentley’s mom and this is what she said.
“I’ve never had a dog that hugged me so tight and loved me as much as Bent.. Skyy has always been my #1 but even she needs her space but not my boy. Honestly if he could live under my skin he would 💜🐶🖤🐶”

I love these updates..and this is the rewarding part of what I do. Words cannot describe how happy this makes my heart..
Bentley had a very rough start for the first 6 months of his life. He was itty bitty when I got him and he needed leg bandages for several months. His accident happened at 3 days old and nearly severed off his rear leg…but with critical care, bottle feeding, and dedication he survived. ♡ Gina ♡

Tanner – Rescued From the Streets; Now Loved and Happy

Twyla – She Left Healthy But Returned Very Ill

Our hearts break for what our Twyla has been through but we will always be there for her.

Hellooo Team, well Twyla had her appointment today & it took a rather unexpected turn.ets start with her injured leg. Dr. Blasses took an xray to compare to the xrays from the emergency hospital xrays. Not much difference except her leg is swollen quite a bit more then it was then. It’s too swollen to assess her knee ligaments. So we were going to go home with pain meds cus Twyla is extremely painful and anti-inflammatory. But…because Twyla has lost close to 3lbs and is not eating on her own the Dr decided to do bloodwork. The bloodwork came back that Twyla is jaundice, likely caused from not eating properly. So now Twyla has to have a ultrasound of her liver tomorrow morning. She can’t have the anti-inflammatory because it could damage her liver, so she received antibiotics & much needed pain meds. Please keep Twyla in your prayers tomorrow that her liver is not permanently damaged. When Twyla was seen by the emergency vet @4 Paws 1 Heart covered her medical which was over $400.00. Today she had exam, xray, full blood panel & meds. Tomorrow she will have an ultrasound and we don’t know what else will be needed until we get the results of that. No matter what, 4 Paws 1 Heart is committed to making sure Twyla receives the medical care she needs, this is where your donations mean so much. Twyla is now on a/d food for urgent care and mom’s going to go get some food into her tummy ❤
