5/9/18 – I received a call from a kind man who had already taken in 3 cats and 3 dogs and was currently feeding a colony at his home. He told me that a very sweet cat (Betty) had showed up with a severe wound on her face. The next day the man was able…
5/8/18 – There are many victims of addiction — rarely do people think of the animals left behind. Yesterday morning an emergency call was made to our friend in regards to four, days-old kittens found in a home where the resident was evicted. The home was in horrendous condition and these babies were lying on…
5/5/18 – A beautiful Saturday morning in southeast Michigan and a beautiful update on our little Ruby. She is the lone survivor of 8 kittens; four were found dead next to her and her three siblings. Then, one by one, they began to die. Thankfully, our little Ruby survived, and now she is the little…
5/4/18 – Another abandoned animal saved! Stewie was found on the streets. He was unable to keep down any food and required syringe feeding, although still with difficulty. 4/30/18 – John Doe was rescued after being thrown out of a car on a busy highway. John is very emaciated and had a ‘lump’ on his back. We approved for John to see our vet the next day and he was found to be heart worm negative. The lump appears to be a cyst….
4/27/18 – Three more abandoned cats who will not be left on the street to face torture and cruelty. Meet Sofia, Midnight, and Gabby. All three have serious upper respiratory infections and were very emaciated. One appears to have been tortured. They are now safe and being treated for their wounds and illnesses. Of course,…
4/25/18 – Meet Hamilton. He was standing in the middle of the street with cars passing all around him. His paws were red and raw. He was emaciated and had a lump on his back. We were called and, of course, we said yes. Hamilton saw one of our partner vets yesterday and the ‘lump’…
