1/26/13 Patton was rescued from under an overpass last Fall after being spotted by an ambulance who called Dog Aide 2012 – Community Awareness to assist. Dog Aide 2012 rescued Patton and took him to a veterinarian for urgent treatment. Patton was in rough shape and it was apparent he had been hit by a vehicle. He was missing a toe and had a shattered hip. He is currently with a foster Mom who is taking care of him while he continues to recover.
Dog Aide 2012 – Community Awareness is an excellent organization and one whom 4 Paws 1 Heart has assisted with medical funds many times in the past. In the case of Patton, 4 Paws 1 Heart is very pleased to pay for Patton’s hydrotherapy sessions with Lori Jobak of 4Paws Health & Wellness to aid in and optimize his recovery. Patton has just begun his journey with his swims and Lori’s goal is to get him in the best place possible as his hip continues to mend and fuse together. 4P1H is pleased to provide medical funds for services which will help in the full recovery of a companion animal and that which will help in finding that animal a permanent, loving home. ~ diana
