Shih Tzu/Yorkies – One Week Old Orphans

The other night we agreed to help these 5 shih tzu/yorkie babies. The mom became very sick and had to be euthanized leaving a litter of one week old puppies behind. This was her 3rd litter and resulted in ending her life at only 3 years old. Why? Because of uneducated people breeding animals without the ability to take care of complications when they arise. That is not love and that put 6 additional lives at risk (the puppies). SAD..
*please do not breed*
*please spay/neuter your animal*
*please don’t put your animal or more puppies like this at risk*
This is a HUGE commitment and I couldn’t have started this without the help from the amazing orphan professional, Amanda Morris. We divided the litter and I’m feeling much less overwhelmed. Again, any donations towards care is always helpful. orphan babies 12:19:15 -4orphan babies12:19:15 - 5orphan babies1:19:15 - 3orphan babies12:19:15 -1orphanbabies 12:19:15 - 2

Elliot – RIP Sweet Boy – You Can Now Be With Your Mom

12/18/15 – RIP Sweet Elliot. Many of our friends might remember the very sad story of Sabrina. She worked at a veterinary and loved animals. Sadly, she was murdered in her home by an evil person who lived in the flat below her. Left behind were six beautiful cats. Sabrina’s good friend, Natalie, took on the effort to find homes for the babies who were suddenly left without their mom. 4 Paws 1 Heart helped with anything medical that they needed and promoted them. We were all on WDIV in hopes we could encourage adoptions. Some of Sabrina’s babies were adopted but others remained in foster with Natalie. Last night, Natalie called me — Elliot was in trouble. This 5 year old baby suddenly lost use of his legs and he was panting heavily. In that we made a commitment to Sabrina’s babies, we sent Elliot to Gina where he was found to be in heart failure. Unfortunately, Elliot had to be humanely euthanized. We try to believe that Sabrina just needed one of her babies to keep her company and that is why Elliot left this world so soon. We know that his best friend, Clive, will miss him. Elliot left this world in love and for that I believe Sabrina will be very thankful. ~ dianaElliot xmas

Holly and Kane – Looking For Their Forever Families

12/18/15 – Meet the siblings of Dean — Holly and Kane. These beauties were, once again, rescued during a trap/neuter/release effort. They have been socialized by Heather and are now looking for hands and fingers to lick. They definitely love each other and would be the perfect pair to bring into your home. Although they are available individually. Holly is 9 weeks old and has received vaccinations; she will be spayed before adoption. Kane is about 12 weeks old and has been neutered and vaccinated; all complements of 4 Paws 1 Heart and our generous supporters. Please contact Heather at [email protected] if you are interested. ~ dianaholly12:18:15kanew:heatherstern12:17:15

Dean – Feeling Good and Ready for His Forever Family

12/17/15 – An encouraging update on Dean. Let’s pray that she coughed up what may have been causing the problem. ~ diana

dean12:17:15Dean says, “Hello everyone and thank you for your prayers! I am feeling much better, I am eating and drinking! My foster mom says that kittens aren’t so bright and we will eat anything. I guess I swallowed something I wasn’t supposed to and it got stuck! My foster mom gave me some yucky medicine and I puked it up!! I’m still a little weak, but I’m getting better and better! Please adopt me, I promise to be a good boy and not anything I’m not supposed to!”

The veterinarian estimated she is approximately 7 months old. She has been spayed, tested, and vaccinated. He enjoys sitting on your lap, snuggling close to you in bed, going on walks, and he absolutely loves feeding time! He gets along with cats and most dogs. If you would like any more information on Odin email is the best way to reach me. [email protected].

Noelle Makes a Full Recovery

12/17/15 – Noelle Update, I’m very happy to report that this little puppy made a full recovery. She was diagnosed with Parvo Virus, and it took her a good week with very aggressive treatment to get through it. If people would only take their dogs to a veterinarian and have them vaccinated appropriately there would be less suffering and death… We certainly cannot save them all or put a dent in the amount of Parvo that exists, but we were able to help this puppy. Thank you all for your prayers! ~ Noelle 12:17:15Gina
