Tobi – Lost His Leg as a Result of Being Hit By Car Because He Wasn’t Leashed

5/4/17 – A large passion of mine has always been awareness and education because I feel that is where it starts. The pics we post can be graphic to some, but if it can assist in saving a life then I have accomplished my goal. This 6 month old puppy is an example of a pup that was let off leash. I am against letting an animal freely roam unrestrained in an unfenced area. It takes only one second for something to go terribly wrong so why allow that to happen if you can prevent it? Stabilization, surgery, and recovery for a dog hit by a car can cost an average of 1-10 grand and that is IF they make it. Unless you have the cash and are willing to take the risk of your pets life, you should be more responsible. This 6 month old pup lost his leg and we were fortunate to be able to help him, but he could’ve easily lost his life. Please, don’t allow your animal off the leash. Gina

Dozer, Tikki, Chuckles, and Addison – Found In a Bush, All Alone

5/3/17 – In the middle of April these little beauties were found by a young lady who was playing soccer at her friend’s house. 4 Paws 1 Heart paid for their initial vetting and in two weeks will be covering another round of vaccines and their neuter/spay. Tobi – Hit By A Car

5/2/17 – tobi 5:2:17tobi--5:2:175/2/17 Meet Tobi. He was in an accident that resulted in a broken femur. Tobi is now with 4 paws 1 heart, and we will be paying for all of his medical needs. Tomorrow morning he is scheduled for orthopedic surgery. Please keep Tobi in your prayers. He is only 6 months old with his entire life ahead, and he is a little sweetheart! We are fortunate that because of our supporters Tobi will have a second chance.

Khaleesi, Katlyn, and Kittens – All Alone Needing the Help of Humans

Loyalty comes in many packages — we should be loyal to our Country, loyal to our family and friends, loyal to our community, loyal to our employer, and loyal to the gifts that God has given us — and one of those gifts are the beautiful companion animals who give us unconditional love. Anyone who has followed us since the beginning knows that this is the time of year where kittens are blooming faster than the flowers in our garden. The mamas need medical help and when the babies are old enough (if born healthy), will need our help. We continue to get requests for help and as long as there is money, we will be there for any abandoned and stray animals needing our help. Here is Khaleesi, Kaitlyn, and kittens who will be going into foster; all rescued by Cristen and medically funded by 4 Paws 1 Heart. Thank you to all for your LOYALTY. ~ diana

Thumper, Cadbury, and Peeps – Found All Alone at 3 Weeks Old with a Very Stubborn Virus

“Thumper, Cadbury, and Peeps” are doing good, but they are on their 3rd round of antibiotics. They’re being treated for a very stubborn virus. All 3 kittens were found in an abandoned home almost 5 weeks ago. They had to be bottle fed because the mom was deceased, and they wouldn’t have survived if the good Samaritan had left them. Stella – Found Alone, Roaming the Streets

4/28/17 – This very sweet girl was rescued from the streets. Every resource was used to find her owners but, unfortunately, none were found. Friends of Scooby, contacted us to see if we could pay for her to be spayed and, of course, we did. Stella is being fostered by her rescuers and if anyone is interested in learning more about her, should contact Friends of Scooby Rescue. ~ dianastella w:megan blass 4:7:17

Momma Kat and Kry Baby – Found Living Amongst Community Cats

4/27/17 – There are so many amazing people in our community. One such person is a volunteer for when of our favorite rescues, Tigerlily Cat Rescue. During her Spring break, she and another friend trapped/neutered/returned 22 cats. As many who have been involved in major TNR projects or who have cared for Community Cats know, very often domestic cats and kittens are found in the process. In those cases, attempts are made to find rescues who will take in the domesticated cats/kittens. Thankfully, All About Animals, is running a campaign now where all cats trapped by individuals will be neutered/spayed and receive a vaccination for free. 4 Paws 1 Heart has been asked to cover the costs of any additional medical required, such as a distemper vaccine, treatment for upper respiratory infections, flea/parasite treatment, etc. We are always happy to partner with anyone committed to reducing the number of unwanted animals.
