Sophia, Lucas, and Ava – RIP Sweet Babies

UPDATE 11:15 a.m. It is with a heavy heart that I have to inform our friends that the three babies did not make it. The doctor suspects they all had panleukopia which is similar to the canine parvo virus. Their white blood cell counts were so low, the doctor felt they could not be saved and we did not want to have them suffering any longer. Since their vet visit on Wednesday, a considerable amount of weight was lost. RIP Sweet Ava, Sophia, and Lucas, I wish we could have done better for you. ~ diana

8/4/17 – Please pray for these babies, Karl’s siblings, they were seen again by the doctor this past Wednesday and now they are back at the vet this morning. Two have lost a considerable amount of weight in just the last two days. Blood tests are being done and they will be receiving fluids. The third kitten has a slightly elevated temperature. We are very afraid that two will not make it. Fosters who can watch over these kittens 24/7 are sorely needed. If anyone is experienced and can assist, please private message me or contact Kim Miller of A Rejoyceful Animal Rescue: [email protected] . ~ diana

Rocky – Found On the Street – Injured

8//3/17 – Meet Rocky. He was found injured on the street; possibly hit by a car. Something was wrong with Rocky’s jaw and after trying to find his owner, he was taken to one of our veterinarians. The doctor found loose bone sticking through his gums and believed that was preventing his jaw from healing. In addition to his jaw injuries, Rocky has demodex mange. On Wednesday, Rocky had the surgery to remove the loose bones and he is now resting comfortably. A foster is being sought by our friends at A Rejoyceful Animal Rescue but in the mean time, he is staying with his rescuer, Lori. Rocky’s surgery could not have taken place without the generosity of our supporters. Thank YOU. ~ dianarocky 8:4:17

Rosie – Almost Shredded by Angry Chickens and Roosters

8/1/17 – rosie 8:1:17Meet Rosie
My mom has a place up north and the other day she heard something screaming in the cornfield. Outcomes running this little kitten! Yesterday, Rosie was checked out by a veterinarian, vaccinated, dewormed, feluk/fiv tested and she appears very healthy. She needs placement as soon as possible. We do not have a foster, a rescue, or a permanent home lined up.. Please private message me or email me for more information.

Batman – An Orphan Kitten Found Outside

8/2/17 – batman 8:2:17batman -- 8:2:17Meet ” Batman ”
He was recently found outside as an orphan kitten. We took him in under 4 Paws 1 heart, and one of the employees at the hospital has been working closely with him the last few days. She is trying to get him to trust people because he was scared to death. He has made a ton of improvement in just a few days, and I have no doubt he will come around. Batman needs someone who will love him and teach him that humans are not going to hurt him. We don’t know if he was dumped, hurt by someone, or just scared to death. Normally, a young kitten like this is not that terrified even if they have never been held by a human. Please message me on here or email me for more information. He is about 8 weeks old. He Loves food and wants to burrow close to you to feel secure. [email protected]

Karl – RIP Sweet Boy

8/2/17 – Our hearts are broken. RIP Sweet Baby Karl. ~ diana

karl 8:1:17“Whew! Helloooo Team Chance, sorry we havent been on much today but we been super busy with Karl. Its been hard finding anything he even remotely likes, and keepdown. He doesnt like the kitten food-KMR mush. Mom tried several different kinds of kitten food today and 3 different kinds of Gerber Baby food in a syringe. He threw up twice today, so putting weight on him is a battle…but one we are so far winning. He came to us yesterday at 12oz. This morning he was 14.8 and tonight 15.1. We’re still feeding him every 2hrs and he’s still drinking water on his own. He had a nice warm bath tonight, he actually loved it and the blow dry too. He got his little nails cut, all his nightly meds and nows he’s all tucked in till his next feeding. He’s pretty weak though and sleeps in between his meds and feedings. He has another vet appt tomorrow at 4 and we’ll see what the vet says. Please keep this little angel in your prayers, he has a long way to go before he’ll be strong enough to get his eye surgery. Thankfully 4 Paws 1 Heart is there for Karl every step of the way. Sweet dreams everybody, we’ll see you all tomorrow! Love, licks, purrs, woofs & mews Chance & the Gang”

Maui, Muana, Penelope, Jordon, Josie and Jordon – Found with Severe Upper Respiratory Infections

8/2/17 – Please keep your prayers and good energy going. The two grey babies (Josie and Jodie) were found with Karl and have serious upper respiratory infections. Jordan continues to fight the fight. So many animals this summer needing so much medical help and loving homes. ~ diana

maui and muana 8:1:17penelope 8:1:17jordon 8:1:17 jodie & Josie 7:29:17“I am exhausted…but first I want to thank Debra Berolatti for being here first thing in the morning to take Maui, Muana and Penelope in for their spay and neuter, (Penelope didn’t get spayed as she developed a uri), and bringing them back home to me, all thanks to 4 Paws 1 Heart for covering their medical and 4P1H covered the vet visit this afternoon for Jodie and Josie! They are both fiv/felk negative…yea! But we are waiting on shots until they are completely over their uri’s. While there I got an appt for Jordan for tomorrow, who bless his heart, when he saw me today after I got home he tried to meow for the first time! It was so feeble, my heart went out to him. When I returned home I was so blessed today…..waiting for me on the porch were a couple of packages with toys and a kitty tree donated for the kittens. I have another long day ahead of me tomorrow, this time it’s also for me as I am still dealing with the ear problem! I want to thank everyone for their support and prayers for Jordan. We are on day 5 and he’s holding his own. Whew……ok, I got work to do! – Patricia”

Gizmo – Dumped at a Veterinary

8/2/17 – I honestly can’t keep up with reporting on all of the animals we are helping. Thank you to all of my family, personal friends, and 4 Paws 1 Heart friends for donating almost $7,000 in memory of my mom. We really couldn’t have kept up with the overwhelming need without those dollars. ~ diana

“Last week I took in a kitten that was dumped at a vet due to being constipated. Last night she started screeching and hid. i spent 2 hours looking for her and called my crack kitty whisperer team Tanya Maglothin and Jen Bochenek to come and help me find him so he could go to the vets at 1130p,. Not more than a second after they walked in the house Gizmo appeared. He was stable and so I took him to the vet today. Thank you to https://www.facebook.com/4Paws1Heart/ our small rescue was able to have him seen. He will need test and they think surgery. if it wasn’t for this group, many small rescues would not be able to afford the medical bills. Please think about donating, adding them to amazon smile. 100% is tax deductible. AND 100% of every penny goes towards the animals. Thank you Diana Rascano – Jacque”
