Ali (now known as Bentley) Will Be Celebrating Christmas in His New Home
12/14/16 – Don’t forget about our Secret Santa Matching Challenge. Two Secret Santas will be matching up to $2,000 in donations. Donations can be made through paypal by using the link on this page or by mail at P.O. Box 84, St. Clair Shores, MI 48080. Only you can help us make miracles happen.
Now the update we’ve all been waiting for (drumroll please): Ali is in his new, forever home!!!! He was originally named after Muhammad Ali because he was such a fighter as he survived several surgeries. Today, he is now called Bentley; which, when you look at him sitting so stately by his tree, does seem to fit just right. What a Merry Christmas for Bentley (Ali) as he gets lots of loving by his new mom and fur brother. ~ diana
Polly and Socks – Rescued as a Bottle Baby
12/13 16 – And this is what your donations mean to the abandoned and abused–a second chance at life. Donations can be made on this site or at P.O. Box 84, St. Clair Shores, MI 48080
Little Polly was rescued as a bottle baby; look at her now with her fur sibling (Socks) who was also assisted by 4 Paws 1 Heart. Thank You Janeen C. for taking such good care of them. ~ diana
Donate Today and Your Donation Will be Matched – Somerset (aka Sophie)
12/12/16 – Once again 4 Paws 1 Heart is being blessed with two Secret Santas who will match all donations to a maximum of $2,000. The Secret Santa Challenge will run from today until December 19, 2016. Please help us meet the challenge by making your donation today by using the link on this page or by mail at P.O. Box 84, St. Clair Shores, MI 48080. It is only with the support of our friends can we make miracles like this happen.
It was August, 2015 when Somerset (now known as Sophie) was found walking all alone from under a bush. Just one pound and 2 and 1/2 weeks old, she was brought into the emergency. She was found to have a dislocated elbow, possible injury to her shoulder, but more troubling, blisters on the inside and outside of her leg. After several surgeries and the loving care of Gina and her fur team, Sophie recovered and found her way into the loving homes of our friends, Jeff and Venus. She is one of our many miracles.
Tinker and Belle – Their Dad Died and Now They Need a Forever Home
12/11/16 – Tinker and Belle were rescued as bottle babies. Their medical was taken care of by 4 Paws 1 Heart. A few days ago they lost their dad and they need your help to find a loving home. Please share. ~ diana
“Good morning everybody, its us… Tinker & Belle!!! We’re so sad our daddy passed away 😢 We started out as little bottle babies, then we grew & our foster mommyfound us a wonderful home! See our adoption pic with Daddy? We were sooo happy!!! Our daddy spent every waking moment loving & playing with us ❤ Then a few days ago, our Daddy went to sleep and wouldnt wake up. Even when the firemen came, they found us laying on top of Daddy waiting for him to wake up…but he never did 😢becuse he went to heaven.
Now we are back at our foster mommys house and as much as we love her, we want our own house. We are very, very sweet bonded sisters. We’re 7 months old now and we are spayed and have all our shots already, we really are purrfect. Foster mommy says they are laying our Daddy to rest today, but that we shouldnt cry becuse we had great love with him and she will find us great love again. Are you that one that she’s talking about??? If you are, could you please email her at [email protected] or call her at 586- 909- 2663 so we can start our life together? If its not you, can you please share our story with all your friends & family? Thankyou, Love ❤ Tinker & Belle
Thank you 4 Paws 1 Heart for taking care of all our medical needs when we were little so we can be all ready for our new family!
Gilbert – Victim of a Hit and Run – Recovered and Much Loved
12/10/16 – I just love it when the people we have assisted or who have taken in the animals we have helped, provide us with happy updates. You might remember Gilbert.
Gilbert was the victim of a hit and run and suffered a broken leg. Thankfully, a good Samaritan and a caring veterinary staff (Cahilll Veterinary) decided they would do whatever it took to get this sweet boy help. 4 Paws 1 Heart helped with his medical treatment and the doctor believed his prognosis was good and I guess it was because look at how handsome he is today. I’ve also included his ‘before’ photo after the doctor gave him pain medication. ~ diana
Beanie, Morley, and Peanut – Will Not Have to Suffer a Winter Outdoors
12/9/16 – More cats and kittens found on the streets with varying illnesses and medical issues. Beanie was found with a Urinary Tract Infection. Left unaddressed, he would have eventually died a very painful death. Morley and Peanut were both rescued from the same spot outdoors. Both had upper respiratory infections, fleas, ear mites, and one had a nagging cough that had to be treated. Again, without medical treatment they would have lost their sight and eventually their lives. Because of your support and the caring people who open their homes and hearts, they will not die alone and in pain on the streets and will never be responsible for more unwanted kittens/cats. ~ diana
Romeo – Mr. February
A word from Romeo’s foster mom and rescuer. By the way, Romeo will be Mr. February in our 4p1h 2017 calendar. ~ diana
“Romeo Romeo where art my Romeo? Romeo is at Rescue Vet getting his Jingle Balls cut off- fa-la-la-la-la.
But in seriousness say a little prayer for this handsome dude who totally stole my heart….and A big thank you to 4 Paws 1 Heart for taking care of his medical!
Romeo and his sister Gizmo (will be known as Sasha) will be going to their forever home most likely this weekend. So I will be really sad this weekend and will need to drink vodka. – Dee (4p1h Board member and Rescuer)”
Annabelle, Missy, and Jordan – A Second Chance at Life
12/8/16 – As you prepare your end-of-the-year gift giving, please consider donating to 4 Paws 1 Heart. Since August, 2010, 4 Paws 1 Heart has paid $442,000 in medical bills for almost 4,000 animals. Unlike so many non-profit organizations, 4 Paws 1 Heart is a totally volunteer organization with all operating expenses paid by my husband and I, and our Board members. 99 cents of every dollar goes directly to the health and welfare of the abandoned and stray animals we commit to help. And, your donation is totally tax deductible. We have helped so many cats this year, that it has almost been impossible to keep up with their stories. Here are a few that we’ve helped along the way. All have been given a second chance at life because of you. — Annabelle, Missy, and Jordan. ~ diana
