Aria – Rescued From a Colony; Partially Blind Due to a Cataract

4/24/18 – Beautiful Aria — Our friend Roberta K. was contacted recently about a cat in a feral colony who needed medical attention. Roberta was able to trap her and saw that there appeared to be something wrong with Aria’s eye. We were contacted and we had Aria seen by one of our favorite doctors at Patterson Veterinary. Aria was seen Saturday and it was confirmed that she has a cataract resulting in almost total blindness. Roberta will work with Aria in hopes that she can be domesticated so that a forever home can be found for her. Aria was already spayed so there is a good chance that she was a pet at one time. ~ dianaaria w:roberta kretz 4:23:18

Hillel – Found Beaten Up With a Severe Upper Respiratory Infection and Leukemia Positive

4/23/18 – Hillel was being cared for as a member of a cat community. He showed up for food one day, very beaten up with a tooth missing, and what appeared to be a severe upper respiratory infection (URI). We authorized Hillel to be seen by one of our partner vets and he was treated for his wounds and the URI. Unfortunately, he tested positive for feline leukemia. A neighbor has taken him in to their home and will care for him until he can be retested. Prayers for Hillel ~ diana

Tiny Timber – Miracles Do Happen

4/21/18 – Timber 4:21:18+++Tiny Timber update ♡
Once again your healing prayers have helped, and this little pup is walking!! He is still pretty unsteady, but he is making huge strides. We will probably never know the reason for his neurological episode, but we suspect an injury or virus. Please keep the positive thoughts and prayers coming. We are continuing medications and I’ll update again soon!

RIP – Found Dying with a Flesh Wound After Being Attacked

4/21/18 – She didn’t have a name. She was found alone on the street after being attacked by another animal/human. She appeared to have given birth to kittens but none could be found. Her belly was wounded and already the flesh was dying. Amazing people, Juniper and her friend, found her and contacted 4 Paws 1 Heart. She was rushed to the emergency where little hope was given. Knowing the amount of pain and recovery she would have to go through and the high probability of not surviving, we lovingly let her go to the Rainbow Bridge. RIP Sweet Mama. – with a heavy heart, diana

Bandit – Left Behind When His Owners Were Evicted

4/21/18 ANOTHER UPDATE – Bandit was taken to All About Animals to be neutered and retested. He tested NEGATIVE!! I will be calling the previous vet whose tests resulted in positive for leukemia. We are willing to pay for a third test although I hate to put Bandit through this but, we need to know who is correct.
4/21/18 – Updates!
Bandit – Bandit was left behind when his owners were evicted. He was immediately taken to the vet, complements of 4p1h, and tested positive for feline leukemia. Fortunately, our friend Jo A. found someone whose cat had recently crossed the Rainbow Bridge and who was interested in giving Bandit a forever home. Bandit is now in his forever home with a canine buddy and a loving mom. ~ dianabandit 4:15:18bandit w:jo add 4:10:18

Frankie – Rescued During the Freezing Cold; Tail and Ears Frostbitten

4/21/18 UpdateFrankie - 4:13:18!
Frankie: He had emergency surgery to amputate his tail after it became infected from frostbite. The poor little guy has since been to the vet several times to ensure he was healing property and to have his bandage changed. He’s been real stubborn about keeping his cone on and although, sweet, I think he’s getting frustrated with his many vets. Hopefully, his last one will be this weekend.

Mama Jewels & Uno – Found Pregnant in a Feral Community

4/20/18 – Update for Mama Jewels. Jewels was seen in a feral community, appearing very pregnant. Our Board member, Dee, trapped her and brought her home. The following day, Jewels had her baby. Because Jewels still looked “heavy”, it was thought that she might have more kittens. Dee spoke with her vet and watched closely but there were no more kittens. Thus, the baby was named Uno. Beautiful Jewels will be spayed once she is finished nursing and 4 Paws 1 Heart will take care of that as well as Uno’s medical needs when it is time. Uno is now 2 weeks old and is a little ‘chunkster’ weighing in at 12.7 oz. She’s a cutie. Here’s Uno today and Jewels with her baby.mama jewels 4:20:18mama jewels baby 2 4:20:18mama jewels baby 4:20:18

Tiny Timber – Unable to Walk and Surrendered to 4 Paws 1 Heart

4/20/18 – timber 4:20:18timber 4:20:18**timber--4:20:18Tiny Timber needs a miracle.. Please keep this little boy in your prayers today. He cannot walk and we don’t know why. Could be trauma, could be congenital, might be toxin, brain, or disease. All we know is that something is very wrong with him, BUT within 24 hours he has made some Improvement. He was hospitalized overnight and now he is home with me on oral medications. I do believe in the power of Prayer and today I’m asking our 4 paws 1 ♡ supporters to think of this little guy and wish him a full recovery. Thank you so much! Gina
