MR. DOG ADJUSTING WELL TO HIS NEW HOME

8/4/23 -It was this past May when we were contacted about this very sweet dog, Mr. Dog, who had been mistreated, unloved, neglected, and abandoned by his owners. The person who contacted us, Latoya, had been trying to get the dog surrendered to her for quite awhile and, finally, his abusive owners gave in. Mr. Dog’s’ guardian angel, brought him immediately to All About Animals for his first-ever exam and vetting. She covered those expenses but then learned that Mr. Dog had chronic dental disease which could be affecting his heart. We were thankful to help Mr. Dog have a second chance at life in a very loving home. Latoya reported this morning that Mr. Dog has adjusted very well to his new home and is actually house trained which his prior owners said they couldn’t do. Latoya said that Mr. Dog has “taken to her and her to him”. This is what a little love can do! – diana

CHARLIE’S EYE SURGERY

8/4/23 – A stray female had kittens on a woman’s property and she was desperately looking for help to give them homes. Unfortunately, one little baby had a severe eye issue. Charlie was seen by a vet and it was determined that the eye would need to be removed. The woman reached out for help and another kind woman, who has been involved in rescue, stepped up to assist in raising funds. The kitten was not able to be scheduled for surgery at one of our partner veterinary clinics, so we offered to make a payment on the invoice equal to what we would pay if one of our partner veterinarians performed the surgery. Charlie’s surgery was done yesterday and he is doing well. – diana
