Welcome Mama Callie to Orion Animal Hospital,

Yesterday we were contacted by 4 Paws 1 Heart about a very sweet cat who was thrown outside when her owners moved. Her rescuer, noticed she was pregnant and took her in. Within a few days (this past Sunday) she gave birth to 7 beautiful babies. Although, Callie was nursing her babies, her rescuer noticed that Callie was bleeding and appeared to be in distress. Her rescuer, contacted us and was told that Callie needed to be seen asap.

Callie was emaciated and would need a blood transfusion in order to safely have surgery. Dr. Zalac performed an exploratory surgery to determine the extent of the issue and found that Callie had a pyometra (infected uterus).

Everyone has already fallen in love with this good Mama and we are asking for your support to help fund Mama Callie and her babies. Please make a donation if possible and share her story.ORION ANIMAL HOSPITAL
