Remember Emma(Snow), she is 90% better than when she came in back in November 2012. We continue to work with the vets to control her allergies. But the basic issue she came in with was an allergy to flea saliva. The former owners treated her with Hartz products which have been known to burn the skin, even cause neurological problems resulting in death.
Emma was on a food elimination diet for eight weeks to determine if the remainder of her allergies were due to common proteins and grains so often found in cat food. She is now off that diet and is receiving steroid shots along with allergy medicine. We continue to monitor her progress and hope to have her spayed soon and available for adoption.
